We choreographed a great routine together. There's a lot of space in the choreography that allows her to be herself and to shine on an individual level. I want this performance to be a foreshadowing of what's to come in her career, what's to come when it comes down to her performing at the Grammys, at the Oscars. It's no ordinary dance. She's going to be showcased like the star that she is

Arghhh it sounds so ambitious and promising and I like how he allows her to have some input in the choreography like in week 2 jive where they did the dougie in the middle of the dance .

Wonder if Derek fans knew he had previously danced with Zendaya doing ballroom & if the way they moan about every little thing with her is because they are jealous she's doing well with Val & not their fav.
For once i think DWTS did right thing as her & Val have the "cool young" vibe tog & i def wouldnt have liked to have seen more of her with Derek, she looks elegant but definitely better with Val.
