I am no dance expert. Elena had a "poor" student in Shannon Noll. He was not a natural dancer, but he had a musical background. Go figure. I do think the communication was a problem. She was very unlucky to get a "non-dancer" in her first series. Found this YT clip of Elena and Shannon dancing a Foxtrot. Training, dance and scores are included. Judges comments come in around 5.25. Gleb appears in the video too...

Aww - that's cute! It's taken me a while to come round to these two (just as they seem to be next for the chopping block ). He's not a great dancer, I'm not sure she's a great choreographer (yet), but I feel as if he's committed to the process and they've created a good bond between them, which counts for a lot.

Wahooo!! Finally, all the bits...

Week 4 - results show - part 1

Week 4 - results show - Part 2

(Val making himself taller than Zendaya in the Skybox )

Week 4 - results show - part 3

These 2 are so funny . Ive noticed seeing him do that at the beginning of the show when all the couples stand . And the pic that she took with Maks he was also on his tippy toes, hilarious

Afterthebuzz Tv review week 4 , 1 hour show but very good and informative with special guests Anna and Victor.
Wow I really like Victor even more after this interview (what a charming young man and hardworking too ) , so well spoken and its very interesting to hear what goes on behind the scenes.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Unc5u...8NNMJA&index=1

He said that Lindsey while being a good dancer doesn't know how to teach (my face was like this ) especially a beginner (wow that was direct and I like his honesty ) . Oh he likes her and think she is a great person but I think he was just giving his honest opinion. Same thing I and many people have been saying for a long time . Just because you are a good dancer doesnt mean that you can do well on a show like dwts , you need more experience. Sure Julianne (she was 18 when she started ) and Mark...were young when they started but they know how to teach. Val teach since he is 14 years old so yeah...I just find it really interesting coming from Victor and he explained to the hosts how she will teach him some of the routines : interesting..

And he said doing dancing with the stars is harder than a boxing match , poor guy

And the little story before his dance I was laughing so hard he is so funny

I think Sharna was perfect for Andy in her first season.

I think this pro female dance was better than "Run The World" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYyTARzvTWE

Dondfan I do like them together but think Victor deserved a better partner than a newcomer with no experience of teaching...

I guess I understood it slightly differently. To me it didn't sound like he was saying she couldn't teach per se, but that teaching someone with zero experience is new to her (and she's finding it really challenging! ).

As best I could hear, this is what he says: 'She's amazing, she's a great dancer, obviously WAY more experienced than me, but..um...it gets a little overwhelming sometimes because..um...I don't think she knows how to teach a person [..like me..] who knows NOTHING about dancing, so I overwhelm her sometimes!'

Perhaps it's a subtle difference, but it's not quite as damning!

...at least I hope that's what he meant, because you don't diss your team mate while you still have to work together!

BIB On a hindsight thats what he really meant .So yeah he was not dissing her , but the way he kept explaining their dance I couldn't stop laughing , he is so funny and he talks a lot .I really enjoy that show, Victor is a really funny, down to earth and likeable guy . He gave lot of gossip backstage which I loved plus he said that he and Jacoby call Zendaya baby Bey , aww so cute and he said Z and Val are his pick to win the show and the whole time I was like please dont jinx them lol.
Wonderful review, I always look forward to these reviews and I laughed many times because of a Victor he is a character .

Anna explained that she will be involved in 3 dances with Maks :
1-Zendaya and Val
2-Jacoby and Karina
3-Derek and Kellie
Uhmm Uhmm they gave them the 3 finalists didnt they
?
So she said that each routine will be 2 min (contrary to 1:30 that its always is ). She and Maks will dance 1st together for the 3 different routines for 45 seconds then the rest of the dance will be the usual allocated time . Sounds really interesting, cant wait .

No I think Sharna is the best partner for Andy. I cant even imagine Andy with someone else. These 2 are perfect together, work well together and are a joy to watch .

So Victor and Lindsey are well paired imo . She is new , she will learn , we will see if she is given a new chance next season.

Ain't that the truth?! (I actually thought the blond woman was getting irritated with him )

...maybe it's one of the things 'challenging' Lindsay, too!

I remember Shannon but not Elena, at least she seems to try and teach him technique and posture, even though he was clearly a beginnner with not much natural ability. she does seem to be quite stern

I thought the lady pro's did a really good job with Bey's song.

Aww like Lindsay and Victor's partnership, think he is hard to teach and she is trying her best with him. When I say hard to teach, I mean think he struggles with it and like this week he was overattacking the performance he forgot his routine and steps, that's not Lindsay's fault she had to shout it out to him throughout. Thought he would be better than he turned out, hoping the Vietnamese Waltz as he calls it is a break through for him this week. Would be sorry to see them both go.

Sorry, no...Anna is dancing with the three pairs (as you said), it's just that she has Henry, not Maks, for Derek and Kellie

She was getting a bit irked by the look of it, because they usually give a good portion of time discussing each dance and couple. Victor is laid back with the anecdotes but he does like to chat and was interrupting the other speakers a bit, which looked to be grating on Anna I liked to hear about behind the scenes chat and antics. Especially as the other speakers were not really giving a gritty critique of the dances this week, It was a bit dull, Anna, was very PC and didn't seem to dislike anything, but then if you are friends with the pros suppose you can't say anything, other than be glowing about them.

Thought it was sweet Vic kissed Lisa on the head and she told him not to as she didn't want him to catch her bug.
