Yes, I got the impression he was involved in something with Maks and Val and he hadn't been mentioned in any of the teams till now...but perhaps plans changed when he and Lisa got booted .

Be nice to see him dance with a pro. I'm sure we've only seen him dance on the lowest setting so far .

Is it just me or is Derek this season coming out with excuses each week in his blogs for maybe not being as good as he wants/hopes as last week it was lack rehearsals now this week he has had choreographer block but still manages to choreograph a pro-dance.
Is he finding it harder with Kellie than prev partners.

Looking forward so much to seeing Zendaya & Val Argentine Tango, def be interesting to see what lifts Val does with her especially if he's had Maks helping him as i still remember that lift he did with Erin Andrews when she jumped onto his shoulder & she was tall with long legs like Zendaya.
I had to laugh at Val showing his 'guns' & the mock offence he took to Zendaya comment about her used to doing the lifting, these two are definitely like best friends or big brother/little sister the way they have fun together.

Am loving promo for Mon nights show & interesting that all the rumours that Maks hadnt been asked back by DWTS producers when it was announced he wasnt in this series yet they now giving him big billing for his guest return.
Not sure this will go down well with certain pro-dancers fans & i hope this doesnt become another stick to beat Zendaya/Val with.

It was (tastefully ) sexy, passionate and probably my favourite Shawn and Mark's dance (and my second favourite AT on the dwts, the 1st being Nicole &Derek AT ) and it was the Argentine Tango....Of all the AT Mark's choreographed this is my favourite : everything worked : the lighting, the costumes, his sexy eye-liner , and the almost kiss at the end...I was mostly impressed by Mark's choreography (considering that this was his 1st ever AT ) and Shawn's acting....
Again Shawn was 17 (a few months older than Z ) at the time and I dont remember such an uproar like Im seeing with Z when she had to perform some of these Latin dances.....

Its really awful to see supposedly adults being so awful about Zendaya especially as she seems so down to earth & humble compared to lots of celebs esp some of teen ones & from what i can see its fans of other couples/pro-dancers who are obviously just jealous of her talent & pairing with Val. Rant over.

To be fair to Maks he didnt make the promo although i'm sure he doesnt mind the PR/attention.

Funny you mention Zendaya's dad, have seen couple gossip sites commenting about how controlling he is of her & one even saying she signed up for DWTS so she has to spend less time at home.

Not a good spot for Ingo especially as his dances so far have been pretty unforgettable, think he could be in trouble.
