I saw that article and while I think that they were exaggerating I do think that her dad is very overprotective. He is like her bodyguard, he is literally everywhere with her. Even when she has " dates " (if thats how you can call it ) he is there . Going out with friends and he is there..

I read she was chaperoned (usually by one of her parents) at every rehearsal. I'd be interested to know if that was something the show (or even Val!) requested, or if it was something her parents insisted on. Not that it's of any consequence either way, I'm just curious. Maybe it's standard stuff with a minor in these situations.

Z still has the odds to win...which was the same thing with Katherine until she slips with her performances towards the quarters and semi-final and Donal Driver got the edge. Regardless, I still think Z and Val will be fine and this season is theirs to lose but I have my fingers crossed that Val doesn't choreograph a hip-hop inspired showdance, they will lose for sure if he does.

I'm sure i read somewhere that the chaperone thing is to do with laws regarding under 18's working in media but cant remember where i saw this but was definitely just after Zendaya appeared on DWTS this season.
Cant see it being Val who asked for chaperone as he's gone out of his way to play down his sexy/rapport/style dancing with Zendaya & think its won him lots fans.

I'm staying positive about the dance & music but Val & Maks are definitely building it up big time on twitter.
I agree i usually prefer AT with traditional music but do feel that these type songs lend themself to the relationship/sexyness that Val is trying to stay away from so going for something different i feel is possibly best idea.
