Just catching up with the week 6 dances...late as usual
From the comments I thought Val had bawled Zen out but he only just raised his voice? I didn't think that was worth all the fuss it seems to have attracted.
Though Aly did a lovely job of the foxtrot. There's something funny about her posture even when she's not dancing - maybe all the years of gymnastics? She seems to bend backwards. Her and Mark make a nice couple on the dancefloor, they seem well matched somehow. He needs to worry less about his outfit (hat and spats again Mark :yawn

and talk nicely to the costume dept about Aly's dresses - this was another unflattering one.
I preferred the team Samba. It was fun and they all finished exactly together at the end, by some miracle!
And finally...I watched Victor's rumba through my fingers, cringing. Poor bloke - he was embarrassed to start with, then he forgot his steps, I bet he wished the dancefloor would open up and swallow him
I would like to ask this of any of you dance-teacher types out there - why don't the pros teach the celebrities 'Cuban motion' before they start on Latin dances i.e. bend one leg, keep the other straight, and alternate? Once you have felt the effect that bending and straightening has on your hips you understand what they mean by 'hip action' - it's not wiggling or thrusting but is a natural consequence of bending and straightening your legs. Am I talking rubbish?
