Disco - Aly
Even though I really like Aly and really hate disco, I think all that shimmying is right up her street
Flamenco - Zendaya
The flamenco parts were the best bits of her paso and it needs someone who can hit the punctuation points
Lindyhop - Jacoby
He loves to jive and this is like a relaxed jive where his technique wouldn't matter so much, plus he could throw Karina around and do his jumps
Hip-hop - Kellie
I think Derek is one of the pros who wouldn't look silly doing hip hop. I don't know if it's really up Kellie's street, but she's fairly versatile.
Charleston - Ingo
It's more of a character dance, so as an actor he should be okay with it and he's strong enough to do the lifts. I'm not sure if he's goofy enough (Jacoby certainly would be, but I'm convinced about him being a match for lindy
). Ingo might just be able to pull off flamenco...
Afro-Jazz - Sean
More a question of what's left and what would suit Peta than thinking this is Sean's dance. I don't think he has the lines for flamenco, he's not funky enough for lindy and I think he'd be embarrassed doing Charleston. I suppose he might make an okay job of disco. Maybe.
You could easily swap Kellie and Z, though that would be a bit obvious (Zendaya's experience and Kellie's great lines and shapes), but I have a feeling hip hop might not suit Val as much as Derek.
The better dancers could obviously do any of the genres, but if you had to get the best mix overall, who would you choose?
