Just been watching the show live on the tv in the US. Am I right in saying that the last 3 couples there (before Dorothy withdrew) included the 3 new pros?

I don't recognise many of the pros anymore. Exactly how many were new?

Three new pros - Lindsay with Victor, Sharna with Andy and Gleb with Lisa. You're right, the bottom three couples.

I wonder who would have gone. (have they announced it? If not, my money's on Lisa)

Tristan really needs a good dancer if he's back next time.
No they didnt announce which would have gone but i agree i think she's not very popular & Gleb hasnt really had time to develop fanbase.

That's really sad

I hope she comes back another season when she's recovered - I think she'd be really good and can't help but think she'll deserve another chance.

Absolutely He's such a nice guy but even he must wonder why he is never given a partner who might actually be able to get to the final Oddly enough, I felt that Dorothy was maybe realising that it was hard.....if she had a back problem, why was she allowed by her doctors to take part in the first place? She was skating up until a couple of weeks ago, does that not put pressure on her cyst/nerve? I'm just really annoyed and frustrated for Tristan, he deserves better.

Poor Tristan, I don't know why the producers won't give him someone who could actually win. The ringers always go to Derek and Mark and it's becoming ridiculous. I'm actually shocked that Val got Zendaya but at least glad that someone other than the show pets has a shot this year.

How horrible

Zendaya has said that her grandmother loves the show and held DWTS viewing parties - I wonder if it was the same grandmother. I'm sure the dance will be great, though.

Sadly, I think he had one in Dorothy - she didn't have any dance that was 'wow' out of the two but I think she was definitely going to blossom.

Sharna is the best new pro of the three by far.

She's really good with Andy - in the training room, and on the dance floor. That Jazz was just fabulous for him, too.

Her first 2 weeks of choreography have been very good, whether I like the inclusion of jazz or not, she played to Andy strengths and it was a great routine. She probably has some insight being in the troupe beforehand which gave her some idea what was expected but she certainly has flare.

Just watching the new pros and dance troupe routine. Think Lindsay is a good dancer, reminiscent of Julianne Hough in looks but she doesn't have that much experience in choreography does she? Sure she will come on in leaps and bounds being on DWTS.

Yeah, I like Lindsay too but I think they should have given her a couple seasons in the troupe to play around with choreography ideas etc. so she could be completely ready to dance with a celeb partner.

Same Mr_X - sad for Dorothy and especially the lovely Tris.

DL seems to blame poor Cheryl, for his lack of ability, maybe some of the celebs are used to being told how marvellous they are in their own genre and he particularly has had a rude awakening. That is not to say other celebs haven't thrown a wobbler or two, depends on the editing too.

I'm glad for Victor and Lisa also, you can certainly see the marked difference of the total novice dancers and the ones with some prior knowledge, but that is part of DWTS, showing different levels of ability..

Probably true but think they were looking for a leggy, blue eyed blonde to inject new blood into the show. Lindsay is very young but then so was Julianne, when she started, but Julianne had a natural ability with choreography. Don't know whether Lindsay is as good a teacher either, from the clips I have seen, she doesn't always look like she explains to Victor clearly what she wants him to do.

I think she was a bit lost when Victor got annoyed in training, and it showed. Then again, I didn't think much of Chelsie TBH and hopefully Lindsay shows more potential.

Think she was taken aback with Victor's outbursts, vaguely heard she taught children back in Utah, so they are probably eager to learn and maybe more natural. Whereas Victor and DL are struggling and showing frustration and every series the pros have to be all things to their celeb. So perhaps Lindsay wasn't prepared. Sure it will be a steep learning curve for her. A few of the male celebs seem to be venting their spleen and directing it at their pro. I did like how Lindsay jolted Vic out of his downer, by saying you have 2 days before showtime so this is it. She may have looked a bit stunned because of the camera being there and not used to a reaction like that. From what I have seen of her on SYTYCD and DWTS she is very smiley and happy natured and into her dancing and professional, this maybe a baptism of fire.

I liked Chelsie, but was never wowed by her dancing or choreography either.

Even though Zen and Val are my favorites, I really like Andy ; he is what the show is all about, his story is so heartfelt and I wish him the best
