Whilst dry shampoo was the most sensible suggestion, this is my favourite scenario. We do know how much little Kev loves a good cry.

You could just tell that what was running through Brendan's head was that it was the only way to keep Ste and the kids safe
Neil was a great addition to the cast, he played the part of an unhinged villain perfectly

So Brendan is like Sarah Connor
Neil was great because he was, as Walker, a believable nemesis to Brendan and stood toe to toe with Emmett as an actor. Great casting. Like Fintan is also great casting. Emmett raised the bar there really is no doubt about that
I hope Ste acknowledges that Brendan did that for Ste, Leah and Lucas. I need him to let Brendan know a) how much Brendan means to him and b) the he knows how much he means to Brendan. He has said he wishes that Brendan loved him as much as he loves Brendan. Well there it is Ste handed to you on a plate. Please acknowledge it.

I decided to do a clothes check and going by what everyone was wearing today, tomorrow and Wednesday seem to be set the day after today depending on if the Seamus attack is at the end of tomorrows episode like some spoilers have suggested
I can't say I blame Ste for thinking that Brendan might not love him as much as Ste loves him. It hasn't been an easy ride for Ste either and plus... not long ago Brendan beat him up so it's normal for him to feel like that.
I rewatched. I love that Brendan looks to see the train coming and then kicks.
