Why is everyone in here so much smarter and well...normal...than a lot of those in the general HO thread?

I can't say I blame Ste for thinking that Brendan might not love him as much as Ste loves him. It hasn't been an easy ride for Ste either and plus... not long ago Brendan beat him up so it's normal for him to feel like that.
Oh I get that I really do, but Ste needs to see what Brendan has done or him too. I understand 100% about the beating and I'm not belittling that I promise you.

Most of us don't venture... there anymore. I never have. The atmosphere is... interesting to say the least

I know, but I do think there is a point to him feeling like that. I think after Brendan's gone, all these feelings will be in the forefront whilst he's grieving.

Having said that I was surprised and pleased that Ste told him he loved him tonight.

Jesus - all I'm doing is responding to one guy in that thread, who didn't seem to understand my post at all. Thanks for calling me not smart, though.

Unless you mean the other guy, of course, in which case SOZ.

Do we think they're giving each of Brendan's main connections an episode with him? Today was Walker, tomorrow Ste and then finally Cheryl/Seamus?

Also if Bren doesn't go to the hospital tomorrow...

I'm not sure it's as simple as that. But tonight's definitely was dedicated to Walker though. I think we needed that closure/relief before the rest of the week.

Why do the main thread send people over here to talk about Brendan/Emmett thinking we just take any old conversation?

Shockingly, we don't just leap to Emmett/Brendan's defence and nor do we continually talk about personal life speculation.

those casual and mutual ILY's show the depth of feeling between the two of them.

Neither do I! I do point out when other actors (or just people in general) are saying stupid things - like that you shouldn't refer to your character by the character's name.

Yes so was I. To be honest I wasn't expecting any form of affection between them after what had happened. I'm so glad they handled the aftermath of that so well. I never thought they would. It's the only form of 'good' that came out of that whole situation.

I'm so grateful for this. It was made believable from both sides, why Brendan did it and what Ste said in return. Their love is still there, but that comfort and closeness wasn't automatically back.

I'm going to miss it. So much.

They really do, there is so much feeling. I've never witnessed a relationship like it before.

I am so happy we got this, I didn't expect it either, as you say this was handled very well. Tomorrow is going to be so very emotional and painful

I am just glad to have watched their relationship develop over the years and to be involved in this forum. It has bought people together and that is amazing

He said something to Seamus about sleeping but I couldn't quite catch it

Also the feeling of understanding between them is horrifying and fascinating (Seamus and Brendan I mean). They almost seem like a proper father and son.

He said it was something he was 'still looking forward to' or something like that

I have a feeling that the reveal tomorrow will flicker between Ste and Cheryl like, Brendan will be talking to Ste and it'll then go to Cheryl watching the video on the laptop then back to Stendan, or with Cheryl watching the video and still hearing what Brendan is saying to Ste as a voiceover..

Initially I didn't really want them to even so much as hug after what went on but in that scene after Walker got arrested it felt quite natural given what had gone on that day.
