EA CEO John Riccitiello steps down

Thoughts? Will anything change? Or will we get someone else in his place who's just the same? Can't say he'll be missed! |

Yeah, of course, still he did 'oversee' EA's rise to become, at one point, the most influential game publisher in the world. Although how much of that was down to the success of their sports franchises I don't know. It would be great if the new CEO gives a speech along the lines of EA losing it's way etc etc, but it probably won't happen. I would bet on corporate shill #234674 replete with shit hair and expensive suit.

Nothing will change because the foundations are already in place. They won't morph into a valve or a CD Projekt over night.
