I have one in the kitchen, and 5 in the computer room and one in the hall way near the door. I used too have one behind the kitchen door but it broke and I cant find the same one again. Mine are changed every day and pooped a scoop all the time too.

We have ours in the kitchen and it has always been there. Just because it is in that room, it does not mean it has to go anywhere near any food you know! In our kitchen the litter tray is tucked out of the way between the sink and the tumble dryer.

At night I move it upstairs to the bathroom, so it is nearby for my cat, because she sleeps in my bedroom.

It seems to make more sense to put it on a tiled floor, than a carpet.

Mine do that too, one for poo, one for wee and the third as the overflow.

For me it works best to have the litter tray in the bathroom. The only time it's a problem is when I am having a nice relaxing soak in the bath and one of them comes in a does a stinker.
