...Was it really necessary to give out my Twitter account considering I may post in the advice forum citing certain issues and would probably need some anonymity?
Change your DS username: problem solved.

It's a bit sad to go scaling through someone's tweets or account through 'curiosity'. The fact that someone easily stumbled across it shows Keith can't be as popular as you hangers-on are saying.
I'm not a 'hanger on'. To be one, I'd have to know him personally. I'm going by what people on here have said about meeting him and finding him a very nice bloke. As CJ is number one in the channel ratings for ITV2, he's hardly unpopular.

The reason people 'scaled' through the tweets were because you were reticent about telling people what you'd said. As I said ^
It's very hard to say what's a 'joke' in print as it's difficult to tell the tone because you can't hear someone's voice or see their facial expressions.
Perhaps you need to move on from being the given the brush off by a TV personality you've never met and stop getting so het up about it.

It wasn't rude in anyway. Plus if I wanted people to now my account I would have it in my bio on DS.
Maybe you shouldn't have started a thread about a tweet you made if you didn't want anyone to know your twitter name.

Just sayin'

In support of the OP .. Why does another poster feel the need to find their tweet and name them.. That to me is wrong .. A poster can post anything they don't have to be constantly badgered into giving evidence.. It's becoming very intimidating on DS and that's why I stayed away from posting for 3 months

Nah... not having that. The OP was having a whinge about Leigh Francis for responding to his tweet by blocking him. Quite reasonably, people asked what exactly had been tweeted so they could form an objective opinion. That was unforthcoming, so someone posted what they thought might be the tweet in question. It so happened to have the Twitter account name on it, but I hardly think the intention was to 'out' him.

The worst that's happened is that the OP has been shown to have somewhat questionable judgement about the tone of his own tweets. I don't think he's going to be strung up from the nearest lamp post any time soon.

It's hard to know what tone a person writes in.. Isn't a tone spoken?
Also the tweet could of been reproduced on here WITHOUT using that persons twitter name surely?

Would it have been unreasonable to replace my Twitter name with '****' etc? Somebody else on the forum when questioning a member's tweet had the courtesy to not refer to them personally.

Well yes, that was kind of my point. His tweet came across as being a bit of a dig, but he doesn't seem to be able to acknoweldge that.

That certainly is true (I think it's been removed now - I can't see it looking back through the thread). Perhaps it wasn't a particular good move on the OP's part to admit that it was his tweet and then complain about his name being on it.

As I say, all that's been demonstrated is the OP's questionable judgement.

Life goes on etc...

Leigh's tweeted this from Keith's twitter -

@lemontwittor: just read on @TheSunNewspaper I've banned Katie Price from appearing on Celebrity Juice? Not true. I DON"T BOOK THE GUESTS!

I'm actually finding the dancing around the actual content of the tweet quite entertaining
Certainly more entertaining than Keith Lemon!

I still think he'd have some sort of say though - it's his show after all. I think there would also be script considerations to take in to account as well, so while I agree that he doesn't book the guests, I would have thought that he'd still be able to tell the bookers who he does and doesn't want.

I doubt. Very few people actually even know who is on their show until the day or week of. Jerry Springer(I know it's a completely different type of show) doesn't know who his guests are until they come out on stage. He read from cue cards, but they refuse to tell him who will be on.

Ummm don't have an open Twitter if you don't want your posts to be public? This is the Internet, it's kind of how it works? A quick Twitter search of "Leigh Francis bandage" brought your tweet up. It's not rocket science. If you'd have said what you actually said I wouldn't have looked. Also you didn't need to confirm it was you...

From what I've read on here the OP didn't get much choice.. Their tweet was searched for and repeated on here for no other reason than to prove a point..

Didn't get much choice in what? OP comes on here, starts a thread about something they said on Twitter but dances around exactly what and plays the "woe is me, I've been unfairly blocked" card. I had a quick look at Twitter and found a public tweet that was pretty rude and looked like it MIGHT be it and posted it here. I was on my phone and just quickly copied and pasted. I wasn't 100% sure it was the OP's tweet and I believe I said so (can't check as it looks like my entire post was deleted).

But you DIDN'T have to post their twitter name .. There was no need for that.. You could of posted tweet without their name ..

If I'd been here when he confirmed it was him and he'd asked me to edit it I would have done so.

I was wondering where it'd gone fair enough posting the tweet but your name shouldn't have been posted.

I find it hard to see what anyone over fourteen sees in him.

If the OP wanted privacy then he shouldn't have started the thread about his twitter comments . It smacked of boasting how he had forced Francis into a corner and "aren't I clever"----but yet he faffed around posting precisely what he said & instead just generalised.Which naturally makes people more curious. So the OP has learned that he needs to think before he starts a thread that might out his personal info. No harm done & a lesson learned by the OP I should think.

Quite. Ignore Betty Britain: you did nothing wrong IMO. Apart from the fact BB wasn't on here when the discussions were underway, (s)he's a bit of WUM in my experience. The OP was beautifully hoisted by his own petard and I can't believe how silly he was...
