Galaxy S2 - Battery.

Is my battery knackered? It goes from 100% to switching off when it eventually reboots I have 10 - 20% remaining.

I have been told I need to calibrate my battery?

It is swelled quite a bit so the back does not fit on?

I am due an upgrade in August, I was going to keep this phone and get a sim only deal. My ipod touch and GS2 do everything I desire.

But if this phone is knackered..

Any suggestions?

I've had the phone two years, in Aug use it a lot.

Er....what?

That would be a cause for alarm I would think.

I'm still on my original S2 battery, had it a similar length of time.

Indeed I am going to order a replacement battery off ebay as the phone clinic want £10?

What is the best battery I can get for standby time?

Samsung sell a larger capacity battery with a different rear cover -see the Amazon link below:

+1 for the extended battery but if the OP is due an upgrade just spend £3 on a battery off ebay to keep you going. A bloated battery is not safe, don't leave it on charge unattended; personally I'd not use it at all.
