Avril Lavigne - Here's To Never Growing Up.
https://www.facebook.com/avrillavign...67484670071817
^^Theres a 5-10 second clip on this page. I'm not sure what to make of it yet. It apparently will be premiered on Juno's tomorrow! Don't no how accurate this is though. iTunes release is confirmed for April 9th worldwide. |

Can't really make judgement on a 10 second click but it sounds promising - catchy, and a bit like her older stuff on Let Go.
The people on Avrilbandaids.com are doing my head in. They moan when they have no news, they moan when they get a 10 second clip... They're just never happy!! |

It's quite Paramore-ish which makes me happy but I don't like repetitive choruses (unless they're by Rihanna
) so I'll reserve judgement until the full thing is released.

I can't really form an opinion on the 10 second snippet but I'm looking forward to having some new Avril anyhow.

One thing Avril needs to start doing is growing up. Her music has barely changed in years and she hasn't seemed to mature as an artist but I will try to save all of my judgement for the full version.

I feel kinda bad for her, she used to be quite juvenile and was successful at it, then she actually tried to do a more grown up album and it flopped so her label made her go back to being a child lol, at least she looks young enough to pull it off I guess.

The music industry is littered with many successful artists that stay in their respective genre but always manage to shift about in the within the genre just like Avril. But every single one of her albums are different. Do people really want to see a 'dance' version of Avril Lavigne. LOL! Completely changing your genre alienates your original fan base and normally does not gain you new ones. Cher is a good example of someone who can successfully change their genre and still be a massive success but their are not many. |

Madonna and The Beatles tried new things that comment is bull shit, Avril is good but she doesn't change her sound at all, she's even more static than P!nk! I don't mind some of her kiddy tracks like What The Hell, it's the fact that she doesn't really ever try anything new that I think annoys people.

My problem with Avril is that she makes music that she thinks her fans want rather than grown up rock pop. She seriously should work with Paramore.

I hate this statement! It's bullshit. Does Madonna stray away from Dance Pop, No! Did the Beatles stray away from their sounds, NO! And so on...

Wish she would got back to her old sound. Feel wired listening to it when she's near 30.

Avril has her niche in music. Saying she should "grow up" is another one of those insane "you need to get out of your comfort zone" bollocks arguments that judges on X Factor always use, despite NEVER doing so themselves.

It sounds like something by Cher Lloyd, or maybe the other way around depending on the way you want to look at it.

Ooh i like it. Catchy and a nice little pop song. Avril never lets me down anyway and I liked half of her last album despite it not being a huge seller.
Bring on the album |

Well this proves you can't base how good a song will be on a snippet. I was sure this would suck but its freaking amazing, AVRIL IS BACK!!

I think it's boring. But I never really liked Avril's uptempo tracks, so I guess my opinion doesn't count that much

It's a good song I like it but it's complete BS that most of the world get it and in the UK we'll have to wait a lot longer
