I don't see it doing anything for him.

He was never really successful anyway despite some big forgettable singles. He's debut sold 2,000,000 in India and like 2,500,000 worldwide outselling he's other efforts by more than 2,000,000 each which would effectively be his career peak.

'Down' did nothing for him except give him a few hits now his a no one and this tripe he continues to release only lessens his sales.

It seems he is another example of a one hit wonder really in the states. He might be working with the likes of Lil Wayne and all his crew, but his music isn't selling. His last album Freeze Time was meant to be out two years ago and has been shelved because none of the singles did well, but now he is preparing for another album.

He's R&B. A genre of music that isn't selling at all anymore. Just look at the R&B iTunes chart... Only a portion of the top 10 makes up the main iTunes chart. 'Down' was a tune back in 2009, but that was 3 going on 4 years ago. Plus, having listened to his other songs, none are even remotely as strong as 'Down'.

I've grown to love it now, such a cute bop song.

In regards to popularity, it was one of the most added songs on POP CHR Radio in the US this week.

He just needs to promote his songs better, as this is great.....

I hate Jay Sean. He comes across as so cocky and arrogant, I just can't even look at him. Hate his tacky forgettable pop crap too.

I feel the same about Taio Cruz.
