If I go on vacation to a country outside of my subscription can I use my existing membership as normal?

Give it a go. If it doesn't work, simply go to one of the SmartDNS services such as Overplay and just use them for a month but don't continue the subscription. It's only £3,30 or so.

This will get you not only access wherever you are in the world, but to all Netflix's regions as well, so it will open everything up. Oh, you will also be able to catch up on UK shows that you like whilst away.

But anyway, it probably will work if you go to another Netflix represented country, but if not, you know you have a really cheap way to get around it.

yes you can so long as netflix is available in the country that you are visiting. The beauty of Netflix is that it allows us to do this which is why we can access Netflix from other country's while using a VPN service like un-block us in your home country

Having recently been to Canada and the USA, I can confirm it does work, that said if you know how you can access the content from those countries from the UK anyway.

Yes and no.
If you go to France for example, Netflix isn't here, so you won't be able to access your account.
If you go to Denmark, Sweden (and other nordic countries), Mexico, Brasil, USA, Canada, yes you will have access to Netflix but you will only be able to watch the content available in the country you're staying in. For that you don't need any additional service.

That said, with Unblock-Us you can access Netflix wherever you are even if Netflix isn't available where you're traveling. It also gives you the possibility to access every Netflix catalogues (US, Canada, Mexico etc...) from everywhere with your english subscription. Which is a great thing even when you're home
