Dogs and baths

Does your Dog like getting bathed? With ours it's an epic battle as I'm not sure if he dislikes it or just likes getting us wet. He will scramble around and sometimes manage to escape going on a tour of the house wetting everything he possibly can. He's fine when it comes to drying and that, maybe he just liked spashing around in water, who knows...

Our last dog used to just stand their looking very depressed. He was a little better with showers. Yet to try this with new puppy - should be interesting

Mollie doesn't mind a shower, and Betty get bathed in the sink, so little she would get knocked down by the force of the shower.

Both of mine have showers and are generally fine with them. One just stands there the whole time until we are done. The other does the same right up to the point he realises his bum is about to be washed then he will sit down and shuffle up and down the bath trying to avoid it

We have a downstairs bathroom. Mine would get in on her own if I didn't shut the door when the bath is running. She loves a bath and water of any sort, the sea, paddling pools, puddles but funnily enough not rain.

Diz isn't that keen on actual baths but if she's hot, she'll jump in of her own accord to splash around in the cool water bless her.

I think mine would be better with a shower if I got him used to it. I've tried it once and it wasn't as bad. I think he just thinks it's some sort of game.

Mine loves the bath. I was having one myself a few weeks ago and when I sat up to wash my hair, she jumped in behind me!

Hehe

My girl loves me having a bath, she sulks until I let her play with the bubbles

Our current collie just sits in the tub looking glum while we scrub her. The previous one used to wait till she was allowed out of the bath then run around like mad for about ten minutes as if she just found the whole thing so exciting!

We also have a downstairs bathroom which is very practical for washing paws and underbelly after a muddy walk or a full on shower or bath when he has found something nice and smelly in the fields.

He is very well behaved and just stands there whilst I wash him. He lifts up his paws and turns round when told. He's really good.
