Be interested in hearing from your own experiences. From my own Indian takeaways are the worst for missing items, wrong items and just general inconsistency. i.e. one week food medium size, next same curry super hot spice.

Its not just Indians to be fair, i used to get deliveries on a regular basis for 10-15 years and had problems quite often, more often with Chinese or Kebabs joints. Nothing worse than ordering something and they tell you it will be half an hour and it ends up taking an hour and a half and them something is wrong with the order when it eventually arrives. I hardly get them now, prefer to do my own.

Is it the same takeaway?
Surely you're either getting a boat load of free food (because you're not going to keep paying for shoddy service) or you have moved to a different takeaway
I dont get deliverys as the takeaways are close by, I call then collect and the kebab shop often gets it wrong and we have to go back, chinese never gets the order wrong.

You'd have thought they have moved, in which case they must have awful luck.
I think our local Malaysian place forgot our mini spring rolls once, but we got them free on our next order. They always deliver around 15 minutes earlier than they estimate.
Our local Indian takeaway has a habit of forgetting our naans, which is annoying because I love my naans. The food is great, though, so we've stuck with them.
We once ordered a Dominos and they sent the wrong pizza three times in a row.
No real issues with Indians - but don't have them very often.
Pizza places sometimes seem to forget little things, like the free dips, but since they are free, I suppose there is little cause for complaint - but can be frustrating if you specifically wanted them.
I've never had an issue with our Indian. It's a proper restaurant that do takeaway though rather than just a takeaway, I always think they're better than standard takeaways. If anything they quite often stick extra bits in, a naan or some bombay potatoes or something.
the most missing items i have found are the quantitys of the food.less meat but more sauce less spices as food has got very bland.smaller nan bread.still on the lookout for a decent indian takeaway !

I got that nice surprise the other night. I bought the special of a curry and naan for £6. Found out when I got home that I also got a (very large) portion of potatos (basically roasties).
