Get a data cable for the phone - its the cheapest way out. You can find a serial m/f bus type on ebay I should think for about £4.

The all you need to do is search for a piece of software called NokiaTool (or nokia tool), it will allow you to read the correct security code.

If I'm right the 3315 is the analogue version of the 3310?

I didn't think they made analogue phones even back then.

The 3315 is an updated 3310 made for Asia Pacific. One feature I remember it has over the 3310 is the ability to compose your own message alerts, and assign them, as you can a ring tone.

Depending on the firmware you have on your 3310, you can upgrade it to that of the 3315.

Analogue phones have been made for years, pre 1990 in fact.

I definitely know there exists a phone that looks like a 3310, but is a digital version, for south africa I think.....we serviced them in the past.....

Yes they've been made pre 1990, I didn't think they were still making them at the time the 3310 and 3315 came out.

Yeah this phone is made in taiwan And indeed 3315 is an analogue of 3310 and it came after 3310. The look is a bit different n looks more like 3410.... I mean the cover is a bit greenish coloured.......
