My channels have gone into a weird order suddenly. They're all over the place. I didn't do anything odd beforehand.

I've tried switching it off at the back for a while, but that didn't help. I've not tried a default setting yet. Any ideas what's caused this before I try that?

Maybe you dropped out of your favourites list?

I'm not in favourites (and don't use it - I just delete channels I don't watch). Even so, the channels seem to be in a completely random order, which wouldn't be the resul of not being in favourites (would it??)

Could it be a sign of hard drive corruption?

Is it the same random order in the
(1) epg,
(2) list function,
(3) when you use scroll through the watched channel using the page/CH button,
(4) and on the left hand side when you go into the set up favourites menu?

If you switch the 9200T off including unplugging the current which channel does it default to when it next powers up?

After powering up from a totally mains unplug what are the first few channels in the list/epg and what are their channel numbers?

Are all channels allocated channel numbers as per listing magazines for freeview?


I doubt it. Does using the TV/Radio button (located under the flap, bottom left) have any effect?

Ok, epg order is:
301, 302, 18, 47, 31, 30, 9, 80, 1, 81, 7, 2, 70, 71, 46, 4,...

List order is the same, and the same when I click through channels. The list on the left in the favourites menu however is in the correct order.

I can't unplug it yet as my wife is recording One Born Every Minute. Bah!

I've just noticed. The channels are in alphabetical order by name! How odd. Is there a setting for that?

Yup. List then right arrow. Looks like you've selected it by mistake.

Got it. Once I realised it was alphabetic I found the option (go to Group in the epg and select numeric to go back to the 'correct' order).

Thanks for the posts. Luis Essex's questions got me to the option. I suspect one o my kids has been pressing buttons!
