Good evening Lord Stuart
![]() Please don't say that.
Now I've been reading over your business plan and I'd just like to criticise how poorly laid out it is. There is no structure and you didn't follow the steps I advised you to include in the brief. |

I sorry I didn't produce a structured business plan. May I ask what I could of done to improve it?
To start with you could have had clear headings instead of a few sentences here and there.
I've picked up that you included no goals or timeline, and absolutely no figures including costs, profits, which is obviously fundamental in a business plan. |

Well the website doesn't require much time to start up and the websitr is rather quick to produce. The advertise the website it could be advertised via bigger sites such as facebook, twitter and other means of social working. To place and advert it could cost £40 a month. |

You aren't being very co-operative in this interview Nick.
I'll move on - your business plan seemed to contain a lot of informal language: "some PDF thing" ... |

No thank you, I wish that you'd included that in your business plan without me having to remind you.
What you needed to include was in the brief. |

I was in a rush which is very unprofessional but it means the books are PDF protected.
I understand the meaning, I was just confused as to why you used that language in a formal business plan.
I have also picked up that there is no detail about how your library will work, will it require software, which could be very expensive, and how will you market it? These things should have been included. |

No it requires simple website produced from macrodemia and files inported containing books files and a simple sign up form allowing the user to browse books.
How will you make sure the books are taken off people's accounts after three weeks without software?

The software is to be used is currently unknown but after a browse on the internet a few days ago the process seems rather simple.
Hmm, okay.
Reading over your CV, it is impressive how far you've come in your employment. I also like the many business related careers you've had. I just feel slightly let down that such a potentially winning candidate could disappoint with such a mediocre business plan because it was rushed. |

I suppose that would be because I've only worked for others and never worked on my own but i'm fresh, new and I promise that I can bring something great to public.
Nick you have been a great candidate, you will have to hope that your wonderful CV is enough to get through to the final. Please make your way to your next interview.

Reading your business plan, which is very vague by the way (please expand), I think it is a good idea and I do like ideas that come from personal experience.

Your business plan was very poorly structured, not following the steps I asked you to in the brief.
There was not enough detail. |

There were no costs, profits, detailed goals or timeline, and you mentioned no people, which you would obviously need to make, sell and promote one of these products.
