Nice to meet you too, George.

I'll start by saying as a positive - I'm impressed with the attention to detail in your business plan especially. Although, when I give it a first glance it doesn't give off the complete idea of what your aim with the business is, unlike the others. If you had one minute to explain your business to someone, how would you sum it up and what is your main aim?

Thanks for the positivity.

My aim is to create an investment company with a twist - that we will exist to target the 16-25 market. This will help young people start their own businesses and companies, which an increasing number of young people are trying to do, as we are in a recession, there isn't much money around at the moment and lots of people can't afford to go to university. The aim is to invest in as many business plans created by people in this age bracket as possible, and gain our profit through deals that we make with our clients.

It's an interesting idea and thanks for the brief - although it led me to thinking when I read your plan overall.

I noticed that you gave around a 5-year plan, and said that at this point you'd want to sell the business perhaps and then begin your career as an actor. By following the example of your business, which is to help young people begin their careers, do you not feel your passion as an actor/dramatist would be easier to achieve if you took this role on board first, instead of spending five years on the business?

I'm not planning to completely put my plans for the performance industry on hold while I run this. In fact, I've already started working in the performance industry, and as I explained in my business plan, it was something that I was doing in that that gave me this idea. I still aim to work as an actor while this is going on, but obviously having this to work on will limit me quite a lot, and after a few years I want to have more time to spend on my biggest passion, which is theatre.

I think this will be a great company though, so I hope that whoever I sell it to will be able to keep it going.

It's interesting how you mention acting being your passion - it was mine for a few years not so long ago, so I can understand that. However, I feel like you have to have 100% commitment to one - and I noted a lot of acting work in your CV, so I worry you wouldn't have the focus to carry on this business, which, for you to win this competition, is the main aim?

The majority of my CV is acting work, because that is what I'm into and what I'm good at, and I'll be honest about that. Alongside that, I am as committed as I can be to running Juvenis, but even if I wasn't mainly an actor, I wouldn't be able to have more commitment to Juvenis than I do already. The reason for this is that as an individual, I don't currently have the experience and the capabilities to keep something like this running myself. This is the reason that I am planning to employ staff to run our offices, as I am really passionate about making this work but to do that, the people I employ will have more experience in this than I have.

I'm not trying to talk myself out of starting this up, I'm just explaining how I imagine this working. I will be in charge and initially run Head Office, but overall many of the decisions will be made by employees, with me supervising them and overruling them if I feel that's necessary.

Good evening, Nick.

I read your business plan and straight away, it led me to think that this sounded like a Kindle on the computer, so I didn't feel much originality. Could you please explain what differs your product to other products such as the Kindle?

A Kindle stands out to the public eye as a virtual book but my site allows people a free chance to browse books without having to go to a library as they can sometimes be deemed *uncool*

But isn't the Kindle related to Amazon, which lets you browse all types of books? You can even get previews of the books before you buy them.

A Kindle costs around £80 but my site is free with a internet connection which make it a virtual library.

Hmm, okay.

Moving onto your CV - you said in your profession that you were a 'Chief Binman', which obviously was supposed to be a joke, I presume. I find it hard to understand why you put this in, though. I know we're not on the actual Apprentice for an actual business here, but it's still a competition and you should have realistically written your CV.

Yes, I made a failed attempt at light-heartening my CV

Obviously so. It almost seemed to show that you weren't able to hold that job for long - if this business fails, what then? A lorry driver, or keep pouring the coffee at 'Facebook' as your CV also said.

Pouring coffee was a voluntary job as I helped out my colleagues, but if this fails i'm young I still have exams coming up I'm sure I could bounce back from anything happening to me.

Right.

Well, this interview is coming to closure, but thanks for talking. Good luck.
