Something is dodgy about this. How can there be stacks of Easter eggs up to the ceiling from around the end of Jan, and yet none left - virtually a shortage - by Easter itself?

Why don't you get as many discounted bargain eggs after Easter as you used to in years gone by?

This is a genuine mystery!

Mystery?? It's Easter stores forecast sales to meet demand and would rather sell out Easter Saturday than risk reducing and therefore losing margin, no mystery jut planning

Had to go to three supermarkets just to get an easter egg for my nephew. Sainsburys and Asda sold out but there were some in Tesco. No creme eggs though! I used to like going into Woolworths the day after Easter Monday and stocking up on reduced eggs when I was a kid.

When they had the offer on Easter eggs at work, people were buying 12 or more each. Its no wonder they are sold out now.

I'll check Easter Monday or afterwards

I work for Sainsburys and we sold out of Easter Eggs on Thursday.

No Eggs at all in my shop, same in many others as well.

This, and it's been this way for several years now. Nothing like the 70s/80s when there'd be stacks of "3 for 1" offers on, and queues out the shop!
