Buy a PVR, ie a separate unit to record TV programmes. There are some TVs you can plug a hard drive or flash drive into to record onto. However as most TVs have only one tuner it is often impossible to record one programme while watching another on such a TV. With a separate PVR you could record two programmes and watch a third all at the same time.
I would be very surprised if anything would let you record Netflix or Lovefilm. Rights management would no doubt kick in and prevent that. It is possible that if you had a DVD recorder connected to the TV via SCART lead you might be able to record what you are watching. But you would not be able to record in HD or at the best possible SD quality either. And you would not be able to record something from either service while watching something else at the same time as you can with "normal" TV programmes. |
