Quote:
“Half-price Sunday

Half price calls. Our little thank you.

On Sunday 9th January we've put together a very special offer for all our Pay & Go customers. We're giving you 50% off the price of all the UK calls you make from your O2 mobile to any UK standard mobile network or landline all day long - from midnight Saturday 8th to midnight Sunday 9th!

It's just our way of saying thanks for being a great O2 customer.

There's no need to register, you'll automatically start to benefit on Sunday 9th - you'll simply pay half the price for all the calls you make. Good news isn't it?

For more information call us free on 2423 from your O2 mobile.”

talk about trying to make up for all the network problems, that's not going to work with some of their angry customers!

why cant O2 just admit that they've had lots of problems in 2004 (still are now) and because of that, their customers are dropping like flies and moving to other networks (Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange, etc etc.) rather than trying to please the customers remaining on their network with all these "thank you" offers

Actually, half of those posts are from people saying they haven't had problems... no problems here in terms of network stability etc... just billing..... which they kindly rectified (and sent me 2 free phones)

lets see, i've had:

GPRS only working when it decides to, topups taking up to an hour to be processed, texts not sending, being charged for texts when they're supposed to be free, oh and MMS not sending either... it's safe to say i'm not going back

02 has been working with me most of the time. Just once in a while its played up a little this year. Like one day in the summer and the free calls weekend in October and two days after the free calls weekend it was sort of playing up and for 2 hours 15mins after the bells at new year. One day in Dec I think it was text was a few mins slower then usual gettting though.

I had problems with O2 and the other week i even tried to join them again but it wouldnt let me top up the sim card so i put it in the bin as i'd tried about over 10 times, i'm with T-Mobile now and have just got a new Virgin Mobile sim card so will maybe buy a new phone for the virgin one or get my LG unlocked.
