I tried to give this show a chance, but I just couldn't get into it unfortunately I watched the first two stories and the first part of the third one, but I just didn't like it that much. I didn't find the characters or stories very engaging. Nice to see a lot of you enjoyed it though I'm looking forward to Young Montalbano starting up.

Series average for the first 9 has been 702,000. Hopefully if the last achieves 680,000 or more, the average will be over 700,000. Although the last three eps have been in the 650,000 area.
nope, didn't make it!

RT has another "Rolf" scheduled (but it's been wrong before!)

Well series average of 698,500 is pretty good. Beats all Wallander versions, Spiral and comes close to Borgen series 1. Certainly the highest rating Swedish series screened to date (The Bridge being Danish-Swedish and not 100% Swedish).

Aren Dahl seemed to have found a very firm reliable audience with it's last two stories having very similar ratings. My favourite story (3) did very well, but my least favourite (2) did poorly, particularly part 2 of story 2 (ep 4) which was the lowest ratings wise and I felt the most far fetched out of the whole lot.

Looking at the new release date for the DVD set of Young Montalbano, it would not surprise me if BBC4 screen all of the Rolf Wallanders which would fill another nine Saturdays assuming they double up The Fifth Woman eps again. (22, 29 Jun, 6, 13, 20, 27 Jul, 3, 10, 17 Aug) with the six Young Montalbanos screening 24, 31 Aug, 7, 14, 21, 28 Sept in time for the release on the Monday after,

Does anyone know where I can catch up with eps 6-10 or have I got to buy the box set? Missed the transmissions so was catching up on Iplayer but they have now gone- very frustrating!
