EPG timings Sun 31st Mar
I may be reading it all wrong but the EPG for Sunday evening for BBC1 (at least) seems to be an hour out - is this because of tonight's BST clock changes.Apologies if it's been covered in previous threads.

Clock Change is the reason. Should be OK by tomorrow.

I thought I'd test the Humax HDR 1000s to see how it handles the clock change this morning.
I set a recording for the Mickey Mouse Club on ITV which at the time of setting was 05:00 and have just had a look at what happened and my recordings list says 'ITV Sun 31 Mar 06:00-06:00 Failed!'. |

My foxsat is saying the time is GMT +2 ! Fox T2 has the correct time.
Not sure where the Foxsat is getting the time but it's not right at all. |

Not sure where the Foxsat is getting the time but it's not right at all. Bringing the guide up and it says 10:33 and the green current programme marker is on 10:33 (BBC 1 - Live Easter Sunday). Note that my Panasonic Freesat TV is OK and displaying the correct times! Edit: It's now 9:50 and it is recording the BTCC on ITV4 (should have not started until 10:43 with my 2 minute pre-padding). |

I hadn't seen the front panel as I usually have it switched off. But mine is exactly the same as yours. Unfortunately none of the recordings are working at the moment as they seem to run off the EPG time.

Just to update this. Just did a hard reboot and now the front panel matches the EPG at GMT +2.
Effectively rendering it useless as a recorder. |

Reflashed to official firmware from Raydon's and everything seems to be OK.

Same symptoms here on my Foxsat HDR with custom firmware:
Recording BTCC on ITV4 was due to start at 10:45, but from the box's perspective it started at 11:43 The guide is showing GMT +2 I was recording at 3am GMT, though I do have a separate wake-up set in the menus for 4:30 every day. I suspect channels with Accurate Record (if you use Auto for timings) may be OK, though I'm not sure how long the box will wait for a start trigger before giving up - BTCC was less than 1 hour as the programme started 2 mins early. Running custom firmware 4.1.1. Will investigate in a bit more depth at some point, but not now as currently recording the touring cars. (It's also worth saying at this point - I have complete appreciation for all the fantastic hard work that everyone involved has put in to the Custom Firmware project, and regardless if this issue is somehow related that of course does not change my view at all.) |

Waiting to see if a recording set for 12:00 works. The epg looks OK in the webif it's only out on the box. Very odd

Please can you remind me how to flash back to standard firmware? I have Raydon's firmware loaded at the moment. Is it Factory Reset in the setup menu? I don't want to wipe all my recordings!!! |

Thanks. I couldn't remember if you could force a firmware download like you can on Sky boxes.
Reverted to stock firmware now and problem fixed. But I will miss the upgraded features. Hope we get a new patched firmware soon! |

I've also reverted to the original Humax firmware, and forced an EPG download just in case. I've also set up a daily recording overnight with the aim of interrupting housekeeping so I keep my custom channels list in the interim.
I can also confirm the time on mine was apparently correct (listed the correct local time with BST time zone) when checked via the command line on the custom firmware. |

To my certain knowledge my Sky box never got the BST end of BST change correct in over ten years. Sometimes the planned recordings failed sometimes they didn't, especially during the early years. My HDR 1000s recorded all my planned recordings correctly following yesterdays change to BST.

Problem was caused by a bug in Nowsters patch. Installing the new utc version resolves the issue. If you used Raydons quick fix reflash the custom firmware and apply the utc patch.
