Not sure if a false alarm, I like to think they wanted the 50th casting to be huge news this coming week when people should have got DWM instead of early and had something else planned to be revealed yesterday, but as that was revealed early the other news has now been pushed back to be revealed next week.
I'm just dreading the onslaught of 'hilarious' April fool jokes tomorrow which will flood the forum, annoy immensely and potentially stop or slow the genuine news getting through!

That's a different news article and not the news that DWO are alluding to. Their twitter feed suggests that this news, whatever it is, is still due but they don't know when (they just expected it yesterday).
If they annouce it tomorrow, let's hope they release the news after 12pm or no-one will believe it...

I make it a point not to read any forums on April 1st.
There have been fairly major rumblings on Twitter of late that missing episodes have been found - someone even claims that guests at a convention (which I think included some 60s companions) were openly discussing it between themselves as they chatted to guests. Taking that with a pinch of salt though.
Having said that, not sure what else it could be that is both non-new series related and bigger news than David and Billie's return.

Thats not going to work. You read the forums on April 2nd and you could still be duped if you dont avoid any subject that starts the day before.
Me I hate these april jokes. Its ok to do the odd one to a friend or a family member but for a worldwide audience to see is a no no. Probably why I hate DWM for that stupid joke on finding some regen footage of Troughton/Hartnell a few years ago.
If their going to do something like that dont bother,.

That one dwb did about the BBC having filmed the daemons as a 6 part story but edited the final 2 episodes together and cut loads out to avoid upsetting a lot of people on religious grounds was a good one.loads of people were daft enough to believe it.

I've seen Web of Fear mentioned as returning but those rumours have been around for awhile, and also there is a story about the Macra Terror being shown at a School in New Zealand in the 70s.

That was Anneke Wills supposedly talking about The Power of the Daleks, but that rumour has been debunked by every major missing episodes expert, including Paul Vanezis, as mentioned on page 2 of this thread.
Ask DWO. They say they're not saying what the news is out of respect to the BBC, who will make the announcement in their own time 
I'm wondering if it will be Thursday, that's when the Tennant news was supposed to break, maybe they've swapped the dates around since the Tennant leak?
