I may seem him taking time off from X Factor later on in the year as the baby would be due then. Good luck to him and his wife.

Congrats Dermot and Dee! I predicted this in the 2013 prediction thread. I think Ant McPartlin will be next!

Where did the OP get this from? Not seen anything on twitter/in the press.

You're right as I've Googled to find out whether the news was true or not. Oddly, there's not one shred of evidence of Dermot entering into fatherhood this year...

Yeah, great news if it's true, but where's the source?

There's no mention of Dermot being a daddy-to-be from this:

https://twitter.com/radioleary

Seems Simon Jackson could be a professional WUM/troll as I see that his account has been inactived at the moment so it could be a false rumour after all...

Why was you posting an April Fool's joke on 31st March?

thanks for the laugh, I read the thread and thought ahh nice for them having a baby. Maybe you should stay off DS next 30th March and 1st April to avoid another ban

Even though this was an April Fools, it wouldn't surprise me if this did happen in the near future.

Dermot got married last year and is turning 40 so is at an age where he might want to start a family. He always seems very paternal with the kids on X Factor.

Seriously, OP, a bit insensitive..

For all anyone knows, they might not want to have children - or be able to. You never know what goes on in someone's private life so IMHO this sort of speculation and wind up is totally unecessary and silly.

I agree!, not a very pleasant April Fools.
