Bought one of these and can receive picture OK but no sound.
Anyone else have this problem?

Have been told it's due to fault at BBC.

Pop over to the Pulse8 forum, there is a current issue with BBC having changed something and now iPlayer sound on Tvonics boxes is broken, box locks up afterwards too.

Yeah, apparently BBC changed "something" with the MHEG iPlayer and didn't exactly crow from the rooftops about it. Pulse-Eight are working on it. I think there's possibly a workaround doing the rounds on the Pulse-Eight forum if it's inconveniencing you in the meantime.

Odd that the Tvonics appears to be the only brand of PVR/Smart TV affected by the change.

Yeah, I was a bit nonplussed by that too. One wonders what TVonics did differently.
