To mirror the other thread, but with a fresher and more current girl-group who have had no previous links to the show, which member would be the best fit for the panel.

I think Rochelle because she's actually hilarious if you've seen her on the Fashion Police show with the group and she's opinionated and has been in the industry for 12 years. If not her, then Frankie.

Mollie would be an awkward choice since she failed to pass the auditions as a solo singer AND as a member of a group.

I'm not a fan of their music either but they certainly have loyal fans and charisma.

I could easily see Mollie being the next "Cheryl" and having an explosion in popularity and coverage if she was chosen as a judge. She's so funny and down to earth.

Rochelle would be alright because she's confident and the leader of the group and has connections with JLS but I think people might mistake her confidence for arrogance at times.

Una talks far too much and rambles on. Very easy to relate to but would be a horrible judge.

Frankie is a bit boring. Yes she's fit and she's well known and is likeable but she doesn't really have much depth to her.

Vanessa has the lowest profile so wouldn't even be considered however I think she'd be hilarious.

•Mollie and Frankie have dreadful voices.
•Vanessa is the youngest and I think she's not mature enough to handle the role.

So it'd be Una or Rochelle. I'd pick Rochelle because she seems more relatable, she's been in the industry since she was really young, she seems like the type of girl that would be able to get on well with everyone (aka her contestants and her fellow judges) and her voice is my favourite .

Rochelle is the only one for the role from The Saturdays when you think about it.

Mollie would be funny/likeable, however it wouldn't be right to have her judging after the show twice rejected her. Frankie is actually quite annoying, whilst they'll try to make her into a new Cheryl, she'll grate on people and she also has the WORST voice in the band.

Una is funny/talented, but as someone said earlier, she always rambles on and would probably annoy the public too much. Vanessa is not well known enough to do it, she's always had the lowest profile and her voice is getting worse unfortunately. However, Vanessa would be funny if you just give her a glass of wine.

That just leaves Rochelle, who might appear arrogant sometimes, however she is confident, happy to speak her mind and is the most credible from the group (since she's been in the business for many years and has the best voice of the band). She's also very lively/funny on whatever interview programme the band goes on, and she always appears to be their spokesperson. She's obviously connected to JLS and has been good friends with Alexandra Burke too.

Tbf Cheryl wasn't really known for her 'impressive vocals' was she. I think Frankie is the closest that comes to Tweedy if that's what you're all wanting...

Una. She's the best member and I think she'd be honest and fun.

I don't think The Saturdays have enough credibility as a group to send one of their members.

Even though I think Mollie has the personality to do it, the fact she has failed to pass the XF auditions would work against her. I think Rochelle would be a good choice. She's been performing since she was a kid (S Club jrs) and I don't see how she'd be any less credible than Tulisa.

None of them. Don't get me wrong, I like The Saturdays, but I just don't think any of them would make great X Factor judges/mentors.

Rochelle for being so sincere (in a Mel C rather than Mel B sort-of-way), or Una for being chatty and personable. Mollie would amuse me, if her responses on Buzzcocks on 21.10.10 is anything to go by!

I don't know much about The Saturdays but I find Una the prettiest and I liked her on Chatty Man so I just voted for her.

That's as good a reason as any. I look forward to more of your feedback on the UK entertainment scene from New Zealand.

None of them and I actually like the Saturdays but they shouldn't be judging a singing competition. That said they couldn't be worse than Tulisa or Cheryl.

Oh please. It's not as though the X Factor producers are seriously going to look at this thread and make decisions based upon it.

I can provide feedback about the entertainment scene on the moon if I feel like doing so.
