Minimum delivery order £15 which means over £15... so like ideally just want to spend about £12 not like £17 as that too much food for one.

They are a rip off. Chinese and Indian takeaways are are very expensive when you consider how much supermarket food you could buy with the money spent on a takeaway. Pizzas are bad value too!

Some are still minimum £10 round here. That would be a starter, main and rice/bread.

I hardly ever get them now, too expensive, even £12 is too much for me. Our local chippy is doing Haddock & Chips £4.20, very nice it is too.

£10 meal deal with free local delivery would be ideal.

I would have liked a smaller delivery for Indian food also. Several times that put me off ordering from them.

Have a nice lager while I am waiting takes it over £15 for me. But really? A limit on a takeaway? Or do you mean a home delivery?

They are only charging what the market is willing to pay. Its called supply and demand.

No. A takeaway is what is says on the tin, walk into an eating establishment and takeaway yourself. A home delivery costs a delivery man and petrol.

Just looked on Just-Eat and from the first 5 Indians I looked at 2 were minimum delivery £10 with £1 delivery fee. Another was £6, next was £5 and the best (which is my favourite takeaway in town anyway) is £3 minimum delivery with £1 charge.

On Thursday's and Sunday's they also have a £7.95 5 course deal. Poppadoms, dips, starter, main, side (rice or chips) and naan.

Eh? How can you compare the costs of a takeaway with supermarket food?

Have a look on Just Eat for another Indian that delivers for just over £10.

Once you have used the site to find a decent one with good reviews you do not have to order through them (just use their info on free delivery min order and reviews).

So the OP wants somebody to cook food, box it up, send off a member of staff to deliver it and moan that the minimum order is £15? Beggars belief

Can you not have it two nights running?

Yeah, I am really annoyed because for some reason I seem to love Indian food now, formally Pizza. They need to do single meals.

A £15 minimum charge sounds fair to me.They've got to cover the wages of the person who delivers it to you and fuel out of the profit margin on the food.

How much would a taxi driver charge to pick it up and deliver it to you? If it's not much, it must be pretty close, so you could go and collect it yourself.

They deliver for free for any order? Even just an onion bhaji?
Do they have a distance limit?

They deliver a bag a chips around here. £1 delivery charge as it falls under the amount for a 'free' delivery.

However, said bag of chips not as tasty as a large lamb vindaloo with naan and mixed starter.
