Wireless streaming from a PVR?
I have a couple of PVRs attached to my main TV and would like to stream from them to another TV elsewhere in the house.
Any one doing this or know of a solution please? |

You have a few options. Assuming you have HDMI connections:
Look for a HDMI wireless bridge if you've got no cables between the rooms. They cost 70 quid upwards. Or, if you have (or can install) CAT 5 (ethernet cable), look for 'HDMI balun' - which cost about 30 quid upwards. You can (at a push) get HDMI cables up to 20m long, so if the room is directly above the one with the TV it might be possible just to connect that way. Or, if you want to swap boxes, there are a few PVRs which have network streaming which allow any network connected device to play back what you've recorded. |
