Watched Stitches the other day. I know its more of a comedy than a horror but it got me thinking that there should be more films with clowns in. Can anyone reccomend any at all?.
Also would love to see some movies with dummy or dolls in as I havent seen any.

Stephen King's IT with Tim Curry as Pennywise the clown. Eek!

The Puppetmaster with Blade, Jester, Pinhead, Tunneler, Leech Woman and Gengie.

Yes, although the mini series itself gets progressively worse at it progresses, Tim Curry is never less than excellent as Pennywise.

Apparently he stayed in character through the whole shoot and stayed away from the other members of the cast to make them more scared of him!

Poltergeist has a scary clown dummy in it, so two in one!

As far as scary dolls go, I guess the Child's Play films are the most famous.

There's a ridiculously stupid horror film about a clown called Killjoy. I watched it ages ago and was laughing through most of it, but I think it was supposed to be funny.

However, check out this website for a "horror maze" and the clown on it (the clowns chased you around the maze) http://www.amazenlaberintos.com/

It was one of the most scariest experiences of my life and I felt like I was in a real life horror film. My little sister cried from it and she wasn't the only one as others burst into tears too!! (We went there again the following week though so it couldn't have been that bad)

Dead of Night
Pin (I haven't seen this since I was a kid, so it's probably badly dated)

Could we extend this to dolls?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killjoy_(2000_film)

There have been 3 sequels to that one, the last two of which feature several demonic clowns

There was a British horror film called Funnyman which featured a murderous jester

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funny_Man_(film)

In Diary of The Dead there's a short scene involving a zombie clown disrupting a kid's birthday party

I remember a really old Doctor Who with Jon Pertwee where these shop dummies come to life. Scared the crap out of me when I was about 5 years old!
