Yeah, I don't think the album is for everyone, but it just sounds like she's having so much fun on the record! It's her most interesting and creative album to date too - I'm really sad it doesn't seem to have been noticed at all, although it was self-released, so I guess we don't have to worry about Kate being dropped or stopping making music or anything. The songs all come-to-life live too, I saw her play most of them last summer so I knew what to expect, and I think I grew to love them a lot quicker because of it, it'll be so interesting seeing her again in a few weeks to see how my impressions change! The Everything Everything album is brilliant too, definitely worth a check out! I might take a proper look into the Tegan and Sara album from your list, I just always feel like I've missed the boat a little bit with them, but Heartthrob has come up a few times so I'll give it a check out!
