Video Value Add On on Three

Anyone use the Video Value Add On on Three?

I recently upgraded to an A1000 on Three and part of the deal was that I had to move up to Video Talk 750 from 500, but they've not moved me up So the extra line rental I had budgetted I was thinking of putting in to the Video Value Add On.

At £10 per month it seems ok for 20 minutes video calls, 20 video messages and unlimited online content (exlcuding the porn, bought games, tunes & pics), but I was wondering if anyone's tried it or is using it and what your views on it are before I sign up to it as it's a six month contract.

Thanks

I don't know if it's the same as the Threepay option, doubt it is though as I am a contract user.

The following is a £10 extra on Contract
Quote:
“+ Unlimited access to 3 video & text content, including Rent Games, Sport & Entertainment, maps, directions, pub and restaurant reviews and regular ITN news updates

+ 20 monthly on-net video calling minutes FREE

+ 20 monthly on-net video messages FREE”

That's straight from their site.

The deal is similar on Threepay. but you don't get any free video calls or video messages

“+ Unlimited access to 3
video and text content

+ Unlimited sport and
entertainment content

+ Unlimited maps,
directions, pub and
restaurant reviews

+ Unlimited regular ITN
news updates

+ Unlimited rent games to
download and play”

Same price though, just not as good value.

Are you happy with it and do you consider it to be £10 well spent each month?

Isn't it £5 if you are on a tlak and text tariff.?

The one I listed above for the contract deal is £10 according to their website unless I've read it wrong or anyone knows different?

If it's a fiver I'll take it though

Well i've got mine for a fiver. Goto the 3 website and then price plans and on the right hand side is price plans PDF and have a look at that.

On contract or threepay?

The link I saw said it was an extra £10 per month.

Could you provide a link?

Aha! just read it.

Makes sense now.

I am on Video Talk for £25 per month I get 500 minutes so for me this video add on would be £10 meaning I pay £35 in total and this way I would have 500 minutes calls, 20 minutes video calls, 20 video messages and the unlimited content.

However, you are on talk and text meaning it's only £5 extra per month.

If I was to first change to talk and text 600 I would pay £30 per month for 500 minutes and 100 texts. Then I could add the video extra and get 20 minutes video calls, 20 video messages and the content on top, for the same price of £35 but with the extra 100 text messages per month!

hmmm....

A plan hatches methinks.

Thats exactly what I did.

So can you use your phone as a personal GPS unit (with the A to Z and maps stuff) for free and is it any good?

What other online content do you use a lot?

Besides the porn, buy games, tunes and pics, is there anything else not free?

The only annoying thing I've seen is that the video calls and video texts are only included to other Three numbers. That sucks...
