If they could just get rid of certain recurring audience members that liked the sound of their own voices a bit too much that would be a major improvement.

My problem was that I would rarely watch a whole BOTS due to having to get up for work the next day, so I often missed the news section which I really liked.

i enjoyed BBLB much more than BOTS. I think its because it was on at 6pm and built up excitement for evictions. Also, a lot of the time on BOTS i feel like no real discussions goes on as Emma keeps having to say 'one person speak one person speak right calm down'

does anyone else agree???”

Your thread really struck a chord with me and I totally agree with you.

I find BBOTS a bit tacky, and I always doubted whether the audience was genuinely picked ( a fella off Place in the Sun with dyed blonde hair kept popping up on it and I just felt they only want to be on the telly).

I loved the way BBLB was presented, and as you say, it was well-timed to build up the excitement.

My other issue with BBOTS is it was on too late, and I had usually had to much vino by then to make much sense of it!!

Thought I would rebump this as someone has suggest axing BOTS. Anyone want BBLB back instead of BOTS?? [Maybe only have BOTS on after evictions/finals/live twists] I don't think Dermot would go back to it though

I always preferred BBLB to the after highlights show BBBM or BOTS
Dermot wouldn't touch BBLB or BB with a barge pole now though.

BBLB back in its early days was a joy to watch. It was constructive, impartial, interesting, entertaining and what's more, there was no studio audience. I don't like seeing the same people in the audience on BOTS over and over again. In its early days, BBLB didn't have a studio audience and the show didn't suffer for it at all. It just had members of the production team, experts in the particular subject matter of what task the HMs were currently doing and celebrity fans. There didn't need to be an audience; just like I think BOTS don't need an audience. The majority of the same ones that keep appearing are usually only there to get their face on the TV. You only need to see Bit on the Psyche or Rylan's Supersized Sunday, There was no audience participation and these frequently occuring audience members were nowhere to be seen, as they didn't get to speak.

BBLB suffered after Dermot left. George Lamb didn't really hide the fact he wasn't really interested in the show. Everything he did was half hearted and he looked upon some of the HMs with scorn. It was such a shame, as it used to be SO good.

I would be in favour of an early evening BBLB-style show again and I think that friend of the show, Matt Johnson, would make an ideal host.

Maybe they could call it Big Brother's Big Tea Break to fit with the time-slot.

BOTS has had it's day (BOTP shouldn't have lasted as long as it did, it was dreadful - not helped by the awful hosts).

Can anyone really see BOTS lasting another three years - even in an alternative guise?

I think they'll always be a BOTS or at least a variation of it.

For as long as Big Brother exists they'll surely have some kind of after show? It's good for viewing figures to have some cheap spin off programme that discusses and promotes Big Brother.

If they decided to bring back little brother and give it a new name they could call it 'BB Exclusives.'

Not much discussion about Big Brother or the housemates tends to happen during BOTS though. It seems to be more about the guests and the desperate audience.

It's quite telling that on Bit On The Psych and also Rylan's Supersized Sunday, where there was no audience participation, the audience members who keep appearing on the show and who have to have their say, never appeared on them. To me, that says that getting their face on TV was more important to them than what was happening in the house.

Can't stand BBBOTS nor Rylan. Would rather see BBLB with a proper presenter any day.

Agree. BBOTS seems to be the deplorable Ryland gurning to camera and a panel of desperate washed up zelebs

Like January, SOTS is only going to be on on weekdays

No weekend shows it would seem

It makes no sense axing a BB weekend show, when that's where there's the biggest chance of any late night parties or excitement. (and dare I say it, even the risk of some miniscule live feed on the Friday to comment on).

Here's an idea, bring back BBLB for weekdays and keep BBBots for the weekend!
