Repost: From Han's POV in chronological order:

- Better Luck Tomorrow (2002) (a non-racing high-school film, which features Han, who says: "Rumors about us came and went, fast and furious." He leaves L.A. for the Dominican Republic to escape the events involving murder. BLT takes place at same time as the events in The Fast and the Furious, but both have little to do with each other. But Han and Dominic left L.A. at same time.)
- The Fast and the Furious (2001) -- Los Angeles.
- Turbo-Charged Prelude (2003) -- this six-min film shows Brian leaving LA for Florida to explain the gap between the events of TF&TF (2001) and 2F2F (2003)
- 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) -- Florida.
- Los Bandoleros (2009) -- the Dominican Republic. This 20-minute film reveals what happened before F&F (2009)
- Fast & Furious (2009) -- the Dominican Republic.
- Fast Five (2011) -- Rio de Janeiro.
- The Fast and the Furious 6 (2013)
- The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) -- Tokyo.

No one knows if the final film, F&F 7 (2015), would take place before or after Tokyo Drift.

A lot of people think it'll be after Tokyo to avenge a certain person's death and that it'll take place in Los Angeles where it all first started. There's a possibility that Lucas Black (from Tokyo Drift) will join Dominic's crew. I hope not. He was terrible.

And yes, this series is one of my guilty pleasures.

The sound issue bugs me with the F&F films, that distant sound of a dead horse being flogged in the background.

any idea where i can get Better Luck Tomorrow and Los Bandoleros at all?

as for lucas black, imo he is the missing piece. i will be gutted if f&f7 does not take place after tokyo, i wanna see it get real closure and would love to see lucas black join the gang as he is the only main character left not too now.

Los Bandoleros is avaliable in two parts on Youtube. As for 'Better Luck Tomorrow' you can rent it from any DVD place or you know, other places...

Thanks. I'm glad the list was useful.

I'm not sure what you meant by 'covered by music'. Are you referring to MTV's edited-for-TV version? I haven't seen it, but I had heard the TV version toned down the theatrical version, but I don't remember whether the theatrical version was soundtrack-driven (if that's what you meant). So I don't know.

Fair point. In that case, I can tolerate having Black back after all.

I'm hoping F&F7 would take place after Tokyo Drift as well. Mostly because a) like you say, it would make a good closure to the series, and b) the ending of Tokyo Drift was a cliffhanger.

I'm at work so the sound on my PC is muted. Does it have music? If so, I'll check the link tonight.

Just music, covering the whole film, not one word spoken.

Oh, I see! Sorry for being so slow. No, that's definitely not right. The film has dialogue. It's not a short film. It's a feature-length film that revolves around four privileged senior school kids, who become involved with crime and murder. Han is the brain child of their criminal activities. Loosely based on a true story.

Although a dark film, it has many subtle jokes. Like the scene where Han 'tricks' a shopkeeper into accepting his photo ID of an East Asian who isn't him (he's playing on the public's stereotypical belief that all East Asians look alike). I don't mind admitting I laughed hysterically at that scene.

The events of BLT were referenced in Tokyo Drift and Fast Five or F&F6. Han also was a chain smoker in BLT, which explains why he constantly eats snacks, as part of his attempt to give up smoking, throughout the F&F series.

It looks like that that video you linked is a fan-made trailer or edited montage of the film.
