Big Country - The Journey - 8th of April
The bands first album since Stuart Adamson's death, with tour to start a few days after the album release.
Now with Mike Peters (The Alarm) as lead single. Preview of the album at www.bigcountry.co.uk Getting some good reviews, for example: http://www.bigtakeover.com/recording...ney-cherry-red |

should be good.saw them in dunfermline last december playing some of the new stuff. makes a change to have decent stuff released rather than the usual garbage that gets played on the likes of radio 1. rap,1 direction,r n b,that sort of trash.

Wow, what a return after 14 years away.
The album is now on Spotify (one track is corrupted). If you are fan of old fashioned rock, please take a listen. It's worth a listen just for Mark Brzezicki's drumming. |

They were 'my' band when they first started, love them, met them, saw them live etc...when Stuart died I was gutted and couldn't even listen to them for years. Mike Peters is actually a good frontman for them now, I'm a bit unsure on the whole line-up with Tony having left as well, so only two originals.
I will check the album out though, if its anything like as good as their old stuff, its worth it. |
