Yes, I am too. I think she gets a lot of unfair criticism on this forum. I thought she was lovely and really sweet.

Surely it's not surprising that Kat did well in a rating Rachel won. Those who give Rachel a high place will tend to give Kat a fairly high one too.

And I think that, apart from a bit of excess gloating at Kat's discomfiture and distress at learning she was evicted, Kat gets off very lightly here for an irritating, fake, cheat who thought she and her friends could decide who reached the final.

Do you think that these people would also give Mikey a high mark too. seeing as he was Rachel's second best friend in the house? Because even though Rachel and Kat were my two favourite BB9 HMs, I didn't really like him that much. Yes, I may have had him listed in my top ten BB9 HMs, (just), but I found him annoying. I found his shouty voice grating and his eating habits and lack of hygiene were disgusting. I only ranked him where he is because he didn't really go round being nasty and bitchy about people behind their backs like so many of them seemed to do that series.

I can totally understand why some people would find her irritating, but I never actually saw her as a fake cheat. I may get shot down in flames for saying this, but I believe that her talks about wanting her friends to stay in the house were just that - saying who she wanted to be with in the house. Surely wanting your friends to stay in the house over people you don't like would go for every single HM in there. I found her too childlike to be the calculating person some people make her out to be.

No, not as high as Kat. Liking Rachel and liking Kat have seemed to go together much more than liking Rachel and liking Mikey. You seem fairly typical there.

Do you think all the 'cookie' stuff was genuine? That she wasn't hinting at who to nominate with her talk of which HM broke her heart etc? It certainly looked like she was at times, to me and to quite a few other people. And I don't think she was just saying who she wanted to be with in the final. In talks with Darnell, she seemed to take it as given that she and Darnell would be there and they had to decide whether to let Sara in or ... I think the alternative may have been Nicole.

I do, actually. I didn't personally see any reason for it not to be, but there you go.

With the "broke my heart" comments, I took it as she just wanted people to get along with each other, hence the "happy house" song. And she would get upset when some people would turn nasty and just wanted some support and advice on how to cope from people like Rachel.

Like I said, I thought she was very childlike. She could be very wise at times when it came to her giving advice to others instead of the other way round, but she was definitely childlike in her ways. But hey ho, that's just me.

If the cookie stuff was genuine, it was in the way in which some irritating affectation can become part of oneself if indulged in often enough.

Perhaps Kat did want be in a house where everyone got along, but the way she tried to get there was to get rid of the HMs who "broke her heart". Similarly, she wanted her and her friends to decide who was in the final. "Happy house", far from being used to help or encourage people to get along, was even used to wind HMs up when it was clear they found it irritating.
