Panasonic TXL32E5B - Finding a TV Stand
As commented in an earlier thread, TV Stands are a matter of personal taste, but I'm having difficulty finding one high enough for my needs. I've seen one for £800 but I never expected to have to pay more for the stand than the TV!
Most stands seem to be designed to support much larger TVs than 32-inch. My current stand is 54 cm high but the Panasonic is too low for comfortable viewing. At the moment, I've found a temporary arrangement that lifts it to 64cm that is acceptable, but I'm unable to find a stand at this height. Ideally, the stand should be fitted with castors. I've seen a few stands that use the TV's rear fixings, but these have only a single equipment shelf below (I would like a minimum of two). Can anyone help? Richard |

They are also usually slightly HIGHER than CRT stands were, so what were you doing before?. If you want something that different, why not make your own?. |

Richard,
A lot of stands have adjustable TV mounting brackets. So they give a maximum TV size. They will fit smaller TVs though. I'm not going to waste time recommending individual models. Like I said before, it's too much about personal preference. So try what I said before. Do a Google search and find some retailer's web sites to see a range of what's available. Here's a link to The Plasma Centre to get you started. |

As a general guide the centre of the screen should be at eye level , if you cant find a stand that suits you ? perhaps you should wall mount the TV , on a small screen like this it will be very easy to do and even a bracket with swivel facility won't put much strain on the mounting wall -- obviously don't know your room layout but that's what I would consider rather than pay silly money for a stand !
PS it would be very hard to find a stand with castors -- health and safety you know !! |

There are several tv stands on amazon which would appear to fit your requirements, though none with castors - just search 'cantilever tv stand'.
