I have a V550 i'd like to have unlocked, but i cant seem to find a way to do it for free - there are plenty of websites that offer to do it for money, but they charge up to £30!!

Edit : Much to my surprise Vodafone will do it for £19.99!

I'd pop to your local market first if I were you. The market near me do it for £10, so it's worth doing.

You can't do it for free!

Stop being a cheapskate and get it done.

I've had 4x motorolas done, cost me £15 each online using my own data cable.

A cheapskate?

Not that I know mind

Its more a case of, "Where there's a will, knowledge and skill, there's a way".

I got my V500 unlocked at the market for £5, so it shouldn't cost too much.

Only works with a particular motorola usb cable. By the time you buy the cable and pay this guy £13 to unlock it, its just as cheap to get it done locally.
