I think it's pretty good value for £2.39 (to a lesser extent £3.39 with a drink). Their hash brown is delicious and I adore the sausage, but the egg and crumpets are nothing remarkable. One downside is the lack of a veg portion such as beans or mushrooms.

I always put the sausage patty inside the english muffin to make a breakfast burger! I like that it's not a greasy "fry-up".

Sausage Mc Muffin...mmmm...

I've got a free porridge to get rid of - maybe I'll just dump it inside a restaurant.

Yes, it's certainly a non-greasy healthy alternative.

I think their breakfast is over priced seen as most of what you get is in the sausage mcmuffin a which is a cheaper price.

Exactly. I can get a ridiculous sized full english at the cafe up the road for £3.

And it tastes awesome, much better than those horrible things served in breakfast cafes.

yes... did you not not realise that minced meat was once moulded into a 'log' shape (as you call it) and then named a sausage?? No? Apparently so it seems!

As for the egg, it appeared from a hens nether regions, was then cracked into a circular shaped ring object (much like Play Doh) to make it look pretty... in a heated pan and as a result, tasted rather good........ Next pointless (though obviously educational) question?!

Minors!

I think you must have gone into the wrong cafe then. nothing like a good old greasy Joe as long as they are clean. at least they give you what looks like a sausage and egg.

Right, so Mucky D is now telling us how things should be. i doubt anyone knows how the sausage started to be honest they can only have a guess.

I buy sliced sausage and have that now and again, never had it in a sandwich mind you.

The problem with Mucky D and the other places like it is everything is done too fast and it is all the same, no variation as it if all come from a factory.

You go to a normal cafe and things are not perfect, one sausage could be a bit more brown than the other, you can normally ask how you like your egg.

Never done that either. must be over 25 years, it got to be since I have had any product from Mucky D. If i am in town and I want something to eat , I normally go to a little cafe opposite our Mucky D, not that I do that very often.

I normally pop into town about once a month, get what I want and then get home, nothing worth while staying in town for.

Now and again I crave a sausage and egg muffin. Now, for example. No prospect of having one though. Boo!
