It might be kind of interesting to have someone more calm and relaxed as a host of BOTS, throwing in the odd one-liner here and there.
Maybe his influence would rub off on some of the audience and they'd give more consideration to their opinions, usually all I hear is 'BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA!!!...'
Most of them just want to get their face on TV saying any old rubbish.

I'd love Julian Clary to present BOTS! I'm trying to imagine a cross between BOTS and Sticky Moments Don't think it'll happen though, and yeah as some people pointed out, he doesn't really seem that much of a people person.

Julian may or may not be a people person in real life, but he is one of the few talented live entertainers around who is both intelligent funny and very articulate.

Julians live tour shows every night when he is on tour are all about his interaction with the audience, responding to hecklers and actually going into the audience and taking people up on stage to be part of the show.

Julian would be great on BBOTS, an ideal host that would be able to inject some real humour into the show, produce some great inteviews and some fabulous hilarity with the audience, with his very dry put downs if they threaten to get out of hand.

I was so exciting to hear on Looose Women from Julians own mouth that he wants the job, bring it on Channel 5!

Why not indeed! An intellegent and articulate funny male on BBOTS in Julian Clary, and dump the awful Jamie East monosabilic low life person, that really would cause the ratings to soar.

I think Jamie East does a good job on BOTS. I do enjoy when he is on the actual panel, probably more so than when he is on the phone.

Tired old has been who isnt relevant anymore.He relies too much on camp inuendo and audiences are tired of it, as we have seen with Brian.

They should give it to a noob to give them a break and freshen up the show or if not Jamie East who is funny, has good interaction with the fans and isnt a one trick pony like Julian.

It is not reasonable to mention Brian or Jamie in the same breath as the multi talented, much loved and very funny Julian Clary who captivates his audiences when he appears on stage in his one man shows.

Jamie East has no measurable talent or standards of grooming and would have a job to captivate anyone other than the intoxicated who have no taste or standards of any kind.

It isnt the late 90s anymore, times have changed and he hasnt really moved enough with the times to land a gig like this.

I think Jamie is brighter and more articulate than a lot of the trash on that show and imo is underated on this forum.

The fact is that Julian Clary has sold out at every venue that his one man show has appeared at during the whole of 2012, Jamie East would probably have trouble selling out even his own living room.

Yeah JC is amazing at dealing with hecklers, and although he'll get a laugh at the person's expense he does it in such a way as not to be offensive or nasty (going by what I've seen).

Sorry if this is sacrilege but I see Rylan as having some similarities to Julian! Obviously he's nowhere near Julian's league and probably never will be but he's very quick witted with his comebacks and can take the p out of himself and others without being too unkind.

I like Julian but its a no from me for presenting BOTS

Julian is coming across as a lovely gentle man on the show, a genuine and very funny man, its so nice that he doesn't try to force himself down your throat to make you laugh, like so many so called funny men on TV today.

i did see him on the show last night and i think he is funny and good at what he does,but he is not what BB needs atm

I'd be more than happy to see him presenting BOTS. I have always liked him and appearing on CBB made me like him all the more, would be great if he got the job,

I don't see him doing it. Would he want to present a show which is sometimes on at 10pm-11pm every night for like 14 weeks?
