Thanks for the thread JD

Spoilers make it sound as if tonight's "offering" might be pretty similar to last night's double

The article mentions Aberfan then.

Seems like some people don't learn from the past.

A few months ago there was a "coalslide" close to Goole, which wrecked some of the train lines and caused disruption.

Thankfully no trains were caught in the "coalslide" but you'd have though, after Aberfan, that they'd have given a lot more thought about where they place huge mounds of coal.

Yes but this wasnt a man made mountain

no risk and they tried to scare the familes away

it is a shadow of its former self but some of my relatives still live there

I used to go to the pub when i was younger called The Farm

I have a few friends from Aberfan it is about 20 mins in car from me

Tonight was going to be my first ever live chat, til I just realised I need my glasses for my laptop but then can't see the TV, and vice versa.

I find not being able to see the tv is a huge advantage and something I will try soon if the current storylines continue

You don't get out of it that easily

If you have the telly on, you will still be able to hear the characters screeching and whining

Have you heard the strange way some people pronounce Tredegar? Tre-da-gaar. I'm in Caerphilly by the way
