Kylie - Fever. How it should have been
The b-sides and unreleased were better than some album tracks - Give It To Me, Dancefloor and Fragile axed and the tracklisting increased by 2 to 14.
THIS could have been her masterpiece..... More More More Love At First Sight Can't Get You Out Of My Head Boy Baby No Better Love Fever Good Like That Come Into My World Love Affair Your Love In Your Eyes Burning Up Tightrope The remaining tracks to be used as b-sides (as some were) Fragile So High Whenever You Feel Like It Dancefloor Alone Again Harmony Give It To Me Rendezvous At Sunset Feels So Good Never Spoken Music Will Always Love You |

not heard many of the extra tracks that you have suggested ... but I like the fever album as it is ..and I really like Fragile, its one of my fave songs on the album.... and I like its placing too. I may change Fever and More ,More, More on the tracklisting with each other. Other than that its a solid pop album and perhaps her best to date. Whereas 'X' could have been her best album to date .... but don`t get me started ....

and globally it was her most succesful album including US top 3 and platinum status and a grammy award! Not sure what happened with her follow up release 'Body Language' ? as it bombed in America, selling only 100k....

I like the idea of putting Baby on the main album, like you say the some of the b-sides are better than the album tracks
I'm not a fan of Give it to me so i'd happily ditch that all together. I've only just heard of feels so good about 2 weeks ago. I'd need to hear more of Music will always love you to make a decision (hint hint anyone on the internet lol) |

No! Fever is my favourite album of all time, I wouldn't change it for the world.
Saying that though, I haven't heard any of those extra tracks. That'll keep me occupied. Interesting thread, thanks! |

I love most of the b-sides but for me the album is perfect as it is and if in anyway changed for me would just not work there's a reason each song was chosen and for me they picked right

Fragile is one of the strongest tracks on the album so there is no way i would take it off. I would add baby and if i was to drop a track it would be more more more. It is a solid album and was marketed so well, it really was the peak of Kylie's career worldwide. While Fever is a great album that i still enjoy i still am of the opinion that light years was a better album.

I think the album is fine as it. Such a great pop album with no filler at all. Although personally X is my favourite and what I regard as her masterpiece.

Ah one of the albums of my childhood! More More More I agree is a brilliant opener and one of the best on the album, I prefer it to CGYOFMH. Fever and Love at First Sight are another two personal favourites of mine

Fever is the one of the few Kylie albums which is perfect as it is. She always releases great b-sides though so I can see why people want to swap tracks. Baby is probably my favourite b-side from this era.
If any of her albums needed a reshuffle it's X. What a mess that album is! It's still damn good though. |

That song will be played forever at Pride events long after we've all gone while CGYOOMH will be long forgotten. |

Someone has made a fantastic fanmade cover - MUCH better than the original. There are quite a few good ones on Coverlandia

lol, the album was fine the way it was and it was her commercial peak. i don't know what`s more amusing, the thought that there was a need for it to be better or suggestions that `you`re disco needs you` will be better regarded compared to cgyoomh in the future.
![]() i don't think fever was her best album offering by a long way personally, but the lead single is a timeless classic and the album sold by the masses off the back of that really. |

I like Fever. I haven't listened to any of the b-sides though so I'll have to check them out.
I wonder though why people think certain songs are 'too good' to be b-sides? I love b-sides. They should ideally be just as good as the artist's other songs. They shouldn't be thought of as inferior to album tracks. |

I always thought the album was vastly overated love at first sight, fever, fragile, give it to me & come into my world were good rest album filler tracks light years is much better.
I do think some of the b-sides should have been album tracks such as tightrope, boy & good like that instead of the weaker tracks. |

All Kylie albums are four decent tracks + filler. If they hadn't used as much filler on Fever, they wouldn't have had any tracks for Body Language.

I love X and for me Cherry Bomb, Magnetic Electric, and especially Rippin Up The Disco belonged on that album.
