I endless read about JOB's nasty comments about UKIP on this thread. No one is allowed to say something bad on this thread about UKIP or the Tories but it's okay to do so with JC. It's unbelievable!

You can say what you like darling. Fill your boots! You'll never hear me suggesting anyone should hold back about any of them.

Which of Mr Corbyn's policy proposals do you actually oppose?

So does every country have the right to own nuclear weapons too?

And who are you planning to use it against anyway? So-called IS and sundry terrorists are supposed to be the biggest threat to our security right?

Well what would happen at some future point if they got hold of them ? Of course by that stage with that leftie in charge we would not have much army left . But of course his answer is to sit down & have a discussion with them . That is his answer to everything - sit down & talk about it . It would be like having a bloody social worker as PM

He didn't say that on the Andrew Marr show this morning and there will be a speech tomorrow by Hilary Benn about this issue.

You overlooked the word "deterrent"

If you want to take your chances with the nut jobs in the world today feel free. I don't.

I don't believe you have addressed the point. If nuclear weaponry is an effective deterrent and guarantees our security, which is what we are asked to believe, then why isn't every single country in the world entitled to believe the same and legitimately entitled to have some?

By your logic the surest path to World Peace is then for every single country to have them too, right?

And what would yours be? The utopia where no one has them? I'm totally up for that. Finally we agree.

So show the way by scrapping them.

I'm glad Ukraine decided to do just that in the 1990s, otherwise we might not be here debating this.

Why hasn't Cameron or Osbourne ever agreed to be interviewed by James O'Brien? Tory politicians are OK with grovelling fanboys like Ferrari but if they can't cope with a few awkward questions from James O'Brien they can't have much bottle.

Perhaps they haven't been asked. It's Osborne, BTW.

Cameron and Osborne have no reason to court publicity because they are running the country. They are constantly in the news so have no profile to extend.

Corbyn, Farrage, BoJo et al all need a platform so have to accept most invites so the GBP actually get to see/hear them.

To be fair to them they dont do many interviews at that time of day .
Next week they will be doing interviews at breakfast time to the media
at the Tory conference

Gobber has emotion issues - just a hopeless polticial interviewer. Chatting with rogue plumbers on Watchdog would be more his league .

Corby 's message to the 'people' or more like 'some people 'is one of being honest and fresh and new

.Not a big deal per se i agree - but by nicking chucks of old speech just doesnt convey that message.

Like Nick Ferrari in that respect then.

Why is he a joke? He has been elected with the biggest mandate in Labour party history, precisely because he offers a markedly different set of policies.

He did say in his speech that he would be using newer media, eg Twitter, to engage with voters.

He knows that LBC and the Murdoch press will be biased against him anyway, so why waste time talking to them?
