According to a listener this morning, NF is left wing
As a distant memory from Politics 101, if you go far enough Left or Right, you merge to become Fascist.
I read an article recently that argued that this terminology is outdated.
We mostly consist of views, beliefs etc. that are partly Left, partly Right and partly Centre.
Thus, my one-man campaign continues to avoid the use of labels!

I would probably agree with you. I agree with policies of the Conservative party and some from the Labour party. I may agree with the Liberal Democrats .. if I knew what their policies were

Islam is not like the Catholic Church where central direction comes from the Vatican. It is a devolved religion where people make their own interpretations of what the Koran means.
So why the need for Mosques or Imams?

I was looking forward to it too but he seems to have rowed back a little from his previous amusement at the idea of Trump as President. Reality has struck.....
Of course Nick has already managed to bring Brexit into it....
But I do agree with him that Trump does not look comfortable. I think a suitable thought bubble over his head when he met Obama would have been 'Sh*t, what have I got myself into'. I suspect he didn't actually want to win all that much, that it was just a big roller coaster of a self promoting game - Trump in the spotlight. Now it just got serious.

Nick Abbott is saying that Boris has been telling EU ambassadors that he is in favour of the free movement of people.
Is he a liar or an idiot?

He is good on very few occasions, but is a relentless propagandist for the right wing.

Ha barred from the chit chat thread for someone asking why Brendan Cox is controversial all I did was paste the link to the Guardian reporting he'd left charity and why......

Strange but for chit chat posters I'll have to wish you merry Christmas from here until I get bought down from the naughty step.... hey ho.....
Merry crimble then....

He was actually being complimentary about Jeremy Corbyn, before putting the nasty right wing Tory knife in again.

I was responding to his EU stance

Loved it when he was talking to John Stapleton about honours

Am being very aware of not being political on the chit chat thread
But

How can Farage being in next week for Ian Collins be anything other than political

Also Nick Abbot claimed he didn't know anything about the KH/daily mail apology

The Mail advertise on LBC
They are political for want of s better word

If it's about politics on LBC I don't see why you should avoid the main thread. It's when it segues into ideological argument that other posters get annoyed.
