Lines Close at 10:15PM Tonight!

The day started off with then 10 contestants meeting at a posh 6* hotel. The presenters Ant & Dec laid out a table full of tasty breakfast treats. Little did the contestants know this wouldn't be the only thing they'd be munching on today.
The first to arrive was Newsreader and Television Presenter Mark Austin. He told the presenters that although he's nervous about entering the jungle it's going to be a challenging yet fun experience. He also said that he hopes his campmates are funny yet not over the top.
Next to arrive was Singer & Member of Boyband Blue Duncan James. He shook hands with Mark before telling Ant & Dec that after seeing Simon & Antony on the show he thought he'd give it a go. He then explained how stupid he feels for doing this.
The third person to arrive was Actress & Former Doctor Who companion Katy Manning. Katy told Mark, Duncan and the presenters that even though she lived in Australia for a good amount of time she was still extremely nervous. She then said that she'll try and get on with anybody who'll be there with her.
Next to arrive was Actress, Dancing On Ice Winner and Former Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon. She claimed that she is pooping herself about the fact that she's going to live with lots of creepy crawlies in the jungle. She said that some people rile her but she'll try and keep peace in the jungle.
The fifth person to arrive was TOWIE Star Joey Essex, he said that after doing ITV's 'Splash' earlier in the year he thought he'd conquered his fears. He then said that maybe he should have thought twice. He said that he's used to being around a lot of people so that won't bother him.
The next five shall come soon.

Next to arrive was Former Corrie Star Shobna Gulati. She told the other contestants and presenters that she is nervous about what she's doing but she's prepared to give any challenge thrown at her a go. She said that after doing late night shoots on Corrie a lot she seems to be more active at night so might get quite irritating.
The seventh celebrity to arrive was Childrens TV Presenter Justin Fletcher. He said that he knows he can be quite annoying but funny at the same time. He said he hopes to get along with everyone and will tackle any trials that he gets.
The eighth celebrity to appear was Bananarama singer Keren Woodward. Keren said she is extremely nervous and has quite a few phoebias so might not be good at the trials. She then said she shouldn't have said that. She carried on to say that she gets along with lots of people but if people hit the wrong buttons she won't mind arguing.
The penultimate contestant to arrive was Darts Player Chris Mason. Chris said that he doesn't take any farcing around and prefers to get on with the challenges instead of squealing. He said that he gets along with everybody that doesn't rile him.
The last person to arrive was Glamour Model Pixie Geldof who said that there's never been a model won the show before and she's out to be the first. She carried on to say that even though she's scared of a few things she'll get on with the challenges. She said that she prefers people to do their own work and that she's not going to do everybody's chores.
The presenters announced that for the first few days the ten contestants shall be split into two teams. They will compete in Bushtucker Trials, Dingo Dollar Challenges and basically everything else. The first bushtucker trial shall decide who gets the better camp of the two and also who gets the meals for that night. The other team shall get the worse camp and rice and beans for dinner.
The two teams are:
TEAM ONE:
Shobna Gulati
Mark Austin
Pixie Geldof
Chris Mason
Duncan James
TEAM TWO:
Katy Manning
Justin Fletcher
Hayley Tamaddon
Joey Essex
Keren Woodward
The trial shall follow shortly

Ant & Dec announced that the two teams shall both be going to the bushtucker trial area for the first time where they'll take part in their first trial 'Deadly Diner'. The set out was similar to an American Diner. Ant & Dec stood behind the counter whilst the two teams sat opposite sides of the counter to each other. The aim of the game was that one by one a member of each team would face each other and be presented with a dish from the Jungle Diner. Whoever ate the thing the quickest and showed their tongue would win the round. Whoever had the most points at the end of the trial would win the best camp and food.
The first dish was a 'Cockolate Milkshake' which was blended cockroaches in a milkshake glass. Whilst Duncan offered to take part from Team One, Joey went from Team Two. Both quickly tried to drink the milkshake however they both gagged. Joey's eyes started to water and after concentrating too much on that, Duncan finished first.
Team One 1-0 Team Two
Next up was a 'Fleasburger' which was many dead flies in a bun. Pixie went up from Team One whilst Team Two decided that Katy should go up. They both tried to eat the burger however Pixie spat it out- she said it was extremely vile. Katy slowly muched through the burger. She claimed that all she could taste was the bread which was good.
Team One 1-1 Team Two
The third dish was a 'Toad Toastie' which was mushed frogs legs in a toastie. Mark went up from Team One whilst Hayley decided it was her turn from Team Two. Mark pulled the toastie apart to see what was inside and pulled a face. Hayley started nibbling at it. Mark slowly started eating at it and his teammates got impatient. Suddenly, Hayley looked at her team and then started to eat it quickly. However she then started to gag and spat it out. Mark carried on eating it. Hayley claimed that if she'd munched through it slowly she might have won.
Team One 2-1 Team Two
The penultimate dish was a Critter Cake. This was crickets, maggots and cockroaches in a plain sponge cake. Shobna went up from Team One whilst Keren decided she'd go up from Team Two. They both looked disgusted at what they were about to eat but Keren surprisingly started scoffing it in. Shobna gave up without eating it saying she knows Keren is going to win. Her campmates encouraged her to give it a go so she took the smallest part. Before she'd even eaten that part Keren had finished.
Team One 2-2 Team Two
The last course was a Penis Colada. This was sour milk with a penis as garnish, they had to eat & drink them both. Whilst Chris went up from Team One, Justin was the only one left in Team Two. Chris went for the milk first and he pulled many disgusting faces. Justin decided to go for the penis first and munched through it quickly. However to his surprise Chris accidentally spat out the milk, this made him feel awful.
At the end of the task Team Two had won with 3 points to 2.
To get to camp, Duncan & Shobna from Snake Rock and Joey & Hayley from Croc Creek jumped out of a plane, Katy, Keren and Justin had to row all the way down a river to get there whilst Mark, Pixie and Chris had to go over a highwire over the trees. All four contestants were nervous about jumping out of the plane, especially Shobna who felt she'd let her teammates down in the trial. Joey decided to jump out first and when he landed at the bottom he said it was an experience of a lifetime. Next to jump out was Duncan who was quite nervous but thought it was better to get it over with. When he got to the bottom he was crying with excitement. The next to jump was Hayley who said she'd do it everyday if she could when she arrived at the bottom. Finally Shobna jumped however when she landed at the bottom she regretted it. Meanwhile, Katy & Justin were having a nice time rowing away however Keren disagreed, she said the boat rocking was making her feel ill. Justin told Keren to relax because it is going to get worse. Katy started to sing away and luckily none of them fell in. They reached the end quite quickly much to their surprise. Meanwhile, Pixie was doing Chris's heading as they crossed the highwire. Pixie crossed first without any hesitation but when it came to Chris's go she was saying things such as 'It's extremely high isn't it' much to Chris's annoyance. Chris shouted at Pixie at the end saying that he didn't need her help. Finally Mark crossed, he was a little sceptical however he soon crossed. When Croc Creek got to their camp they were extremely happy at the welfare of the camp however Snake Rock were not. Shobna quickly went into the Bush Telegraph claiming that she was disgusted and that even though she knew it would be bad they were taking the mick there. Chris and Pixie continued to argue in camp again about the highwire challenge even though Pixie had apologised many times. Chris then moaned about the state of the camp and when Pixie suggested they cleaned up he refused
At dinnertime as night fell, Croc Creek received a package that contained chicken, pasta and aubergines. Katy & Hayley cooked whilst Joey gathered some logs for the fire. Meanwhile Justin & Keren visited the Bush Telegraph to discuss the first days events. They both said the trial had been difficult and that they wouldn't wish it on anybody. Keren then said she found the rowing challenging and boring- Justin disagreed. The camp enjoyed their dinner except for the aubergines which were slightly undercooked. Meanwhile in Snake Rock...the tension was high. Chris & Pixie still hadn't made up and Shobna was still upset. Mark & Duncan were chatting about what had happened that day and their opinions on the other team. Mark said he liked the females in the camp however he found Joey boastful and Justin annoying- Duncan agreed.
During the night Shobna woke up around 2:30am and started wondering around as she was quite sad. This woke up both Pixie and Duncan however they didn't mind. They both reassured Shobna that she would be fine and they all sneaked some rice and beans. Duncan told Shobna that even if she got voted for the trial she'd be fine and if she didn't participate it wouldn't bother him. Shobna said that she will always try and give it a go but she's scared she'll do bad. Pixie then started saying how she wants to make it up with Chris because she's scared their arguing will make the other campmates sad. They didn't end up going back to sleep but all three of them weren't tired in the morning.
Meanwhile in Croc Creek, all 5 contestants had a peaceful night except Joey as around 1am, a rat crawled into his covers however he didn't wake up. Katy was the first to wake up who woke up just after sunrise. She used the last part of the aubergine for breakfast. Justin, Hayley and Keren all woke up about an hour afterwards and all did chores such as cleaning the dunny and log fetching. Joey didn't wake up until after breakfast and was surprised he hadn't woken up in the night. All were very happy that they were all getting along. Justin then went to the Bush Telegraph and exclaimed he was glad that he was in that team and not the others as he found them boring during the launch.

Wanna be my Get Me Outta Here Now guest?
Can you all please welcome my guest for tonight Suzy!
So Suzy, what do you think to my line up. Who's your favourite & least favourite?
Duncan is my favourite. I was not a fan of Blue either - but he has thrown himself into the tasks and shown a good attitude.
Shobna is trying my patience a bit - I know it can be awful to face gears with snakes but if you sign up to a series llike this there is a chance you will get voted for trials once the public know what you are scared of most
How do you think the 'Traumatic Tunnel' head to head challenge between Shobna and Justin will go?
I think Justin will do the better as he seems to be very calm about it
So who do you think may have a few arguments in camp?
Chris and Pixie have already clashed - and I think Hayley might argue too, not sure who with though
