I have a couple of domains and plan to use these for a few different websites I'm hosting on my IIS7 server. I've setup IIS for the different websites but I'm having a problem binding the domain name to the website.

Everytime I add a binding to a website, I go visit the domain to make sure it is setup correctly but I'm getting an error in my browser:-

Not Found. HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.
When I remove the binding, the site returns to normal function. I've set up bindings on previous servers without issue. The error message doesn't exactly help me figure out why it's not working.

Any ideas? Thanks

Is it just one domain that its not working with? Does the site still work if you browse to localhost?

Are you using host headers to differentiate between the virtual folders?

Yep, host headers was the first thing that sprung to mind from my IIS days...

Are you specifying the binding on more than one site by mistake, or with an incorrect i.p. address?
